Quick question... do you have anything on the Triangle Trade and the Middle Passage? My test tomorrow has your Units 1+2 on it, but it also includes the Triangle Trade - plus specifics on the Middle Passage. We have to remember what went where and who sold what and little details about the Middle Passage. Anything would be a big help. Thanks so much

Does the court usually rule in a colorblind perspective or activist perspective?

depends on the court. warren court was known for being more liberal w landmark civil rights cases while the court now is more conservative.

There is no such thing as reverse discrimination... just discrimination.

Referring to discrimination against white people as "reverse discrimination" is such an ignorant American thing.

Late reply but this is probably because this “reverse discrimination” is used in order to counter previous discrimination experienced by minority groups

Affirmative action means when policies are implemented in order to help a minority race or category, this is typically done to help promote equality, the issue with this, same with shaw vs. reno, is that basing acceptance factors solely off race is technically unconstitutional as it violates the 14 amendment's equal protection clause. De Joure segregation is segregation based on voluntary means, while De Facto segregation is segregation based on personal choice, to this day, De Joure segregation is unconstitutional, while De Facto segregation IS constitutional since it really isn't being forced upon you, it just happens to turn out that way.
