I just purchased these myself I paid approx £60 new from Amazon. And I’m quite impressed to be fair for the money... wow! Like you I’m a small new UA-camr intending doing guitar/vocal and so far so good!! And even at 12 o’clock they’re pretty loud! I love the green!
Nice and honest feedback about the product. I liked your honesty with it. Thinking on buying some new pair to start without the headphones, seems it will fit the purpose I´m thinking about. Success pal!!
I have a pair of these I just bought, was a bit skeptical at first...but all I can say is wow!!!! You can't beat it for the price at all, hands down. I'd recommend these
Heya, great video! I am planning on using these for guitar home recording, do you recommend these? Any tips on how you EQ your guitar or what software you use? Thanks
I just got this set as an open box buy for $69. The color on mine are gold with the power button glowing white. I like the look of the green better, but $69 you can't go wrong for this set.
@MarkoGajicMusic in your opinion, if you use these speakers to dial in a tone from your guitar amp and effects modeler unit ( full signal chain) and then use that tone to connect to a PA speaker, how far off would you be on the tone ? Thanks
Many reviews tout Audioengine's competing model. But, I'm not a fan of their general sound. Mackie has a warmer (old school tube amp) sound. It's like Pioneer speakers vs Polk.
Hi there! Thanks for the comment! They are a bit smaller so the bass frequency isn't as deep as you would get with a larger speaker. They offer a very balanced sound - neutral, with not a lot of low end.
Hey man really impressed with the quality of content you put out as a new content creator, a couple of recommendations i'd give you is when you have the capital, purchase a new mic such as the Blue Yeti, the audio is very important to viewers. Also try to make the background look better by fixing the cable management, blurring the background around 20%. You can also buy a cheap LED lamp and put a white pillow case over it for better lighting. Overall great job man i'm sure you will start growing fast, keep up the good work!!!
hey bro you had my most of the questions cleared but i am still left with one do we need to buy audio interface i mean are they compulsion or do they run on aux cable too? just lappy via aux to speakers ??
I believe you will require an audio interface unless you can find some form of aux adapters/cables. In the rear photo at 3:51 it has 1/4" plugs and unbalanced red/white cables.
These speakers have a lot of build quality issues. Please do some research before you buy. Mine recently failed after a couple years of moderate usage.
That's too bad to hear! I've heard of QC issues especially on the CR4s and 5s. I've only had mine for 1 year so nothing to report yet in terms of unreliability. But I'll keep an eye on it.
@@MarkoGajicMusic Yup, they sound decent enough, but knowing what I know now, I wouldn't go Mackie again unfortunately. Hope your luck is better though..
Do not buy these RUBBISH CR3 and CR4 fail after about 2 years just google it they are made with cheap parts , reason I know is my cr3 's is dead and i googled ity and LOTS of ppl have these problems with these speakers they sounded great till they sounded like NOTHING at all
is no one going to mention he's in my right ear?
Yeah my left ear feels lonely.
Yeah ... not a good show from someone purporting to give audio advice ...
70's mix - Vocals on the right - music center - waiting for guitar / synth solo(s) on the left. Needs congas!! Good speaker review.
They also had a special edition gold color scheme, which I bought several years back. The light around the volume knob is white. Looks awesome!

Good to hear! They're solid value for money. After having them about a year I'm still impressed.

Check out Rockville studio monitors. 8" are $200 for a pair but I was wondering about the quality.
You deserve more subs, bro! Great content, and will buy these speakers after watching this video!
I sold my broken CR4s today for $30. They broke early on due to a common issue with the headphone switch buggering up.
Great review! Just bought myself these speakers and I‘m very exited.
I have these and the presonus eris 3.5 both same price, Presonus blow the cr3s out of the water, but the cr3s are nice.

I just got some of these for my meager studio
I am very happy with your review and the way you talk about the product. Neatly crafted video material - congrats!
thanks for the kind words! I appreciate it!

That's a solid deal! Let me know how you like them in the long run!

I ordered the blue ones...
Thanks. I just got these with a Presonus studio Bundle. Should arrive Thursday. Be back soon
Greetings from Ireland, nice review 👍
Hey, thanks!
Thanx. What do I mean by the bass could be better?

Great video helped me buy my new cr3s very please
3 inch or 4 inch?
nice review! thank you

@@MarkoGajicMusic appreciate that !!
What about the mid end and high end sounds?
Non I’m afraid!
Do your speakers have a lite white noise sound when you turn them on???
Sounds like interference. Make sure youre using TRS cables.

I had them, Tossed them after 1 year of light use. Crap parts = Crap build, Sounded ok. Replaced with Presonus, MUCH better quality speaker,
a sharpie will fix the green outline
You're an innovator mate :P
the BASS is good??? I´m looking for a good BASS in this speakers
The cr4 has more accurate bass. So if you search some good bass the cr4 have better bass than the cr3.
thanks man
No problem!
I liked the video just that having your voice panned to the right was very annoying.

These monitors are terrible. Awful sound and awful build quality. Stay away.
