Hi mrs.Cassie its Sophia!! I finally put they eyes into my blythe and they look so amazing!! I love them!! My blythe is still a work in progress but is looking pretty good!! ^w^ can't wait to post the finished product in my instagram!! This video helped me give my blythe sleep eyes. To begin with no one else's videos helped but yours was very simple and easy to follow and as a begginer I really appreciate the simplicity! ♡♡♡♡♡
Thank you so much for sharing!!! It's a very clear video for me as a beginner. I've added it to my list. And yes please explain about the T - bar at 3.45 please. If not already done by you as this is the 1st video I'm looking at right now :o) Will gonna watch the others as well.
I have another video explaining parts. Did you find it? You can email me specific questions at bebeblythe2016@yahoo.com as well as I don't always get to these comments in a timely manner. ;)
@@minamodbot9729 it is for the neck and body to not be so wobbly. You just take a rubber band and twist it around the space between the neck and the body a couple times of this makes sence. Then put the body back into the head like normal.
The package says it is 0.8mm. It works perfect but I couldn't find it in very many colors so I'm going to look online. Everything I find around town is too big.
How would i make a mechanism for a doll with eyes that close like an American Girl doll? Like when the doll is completely horizontal, the eyes roll shut. I want to make a doll from scratch for my niece, but i need to plan everything out first. Please respond. Thank you.
I have a problem with the eyelids' paint getting scratched off by the face plate when I'm placing back the eyelids.. I don't think I've painted them too thick as I've only given it 3 layers of watered down acrylic paint.. Did you face this problem? or anything you could help to solve this? Thank you :)
Did you apply a spray on sealent?? If not try Krylon matte finish. This brand also makes gloss and semi gloss. Which ever you prefer. Or use Mr.SuperClear spray. It helps to add protection layers to your doll repaints so all your hard work does not scratch off. And yes it is hard to put the eyes back into the head. You just put one side in first and then using your fingers and some tweezers to push the other side back in. It is a very tedious process. Hope all this helps!! ^w^
Thank you for the video. But I don't understand because don't function with my Blythe :-( The eyes are closed but it's impossible to change the colors eyes :-( HEEELP
Great I'm glad it helped! At this time I'm not taking commissions but might in the future. I will announce it on our Facebook if I decide to so be sure to like us on Facebook here: facebook.com/bebeblytheco/
Great video, except I tried doing this and my blythes eyes no longer change. Does anyone know what I did wrong and how to fix it? I'm clearly very new to blythes and dissapointed that I can't figure this out. If anyone has any help it would be GREATLY appreciated.
I know I'm a good 3 years late, but the sleep cord (the one on the left) you pull until it clicks to change the eyes. Then you pull the open eye cord (on the right) to open them 💜. I thought I had done the same thing! I pulled the sleep cord and it clicks!
Just learning about Blythe customization. Your videos are so helpful, thank you!

Another excellent video! Thank you for this
Thank you so much for sharing! :-)
If you want to use a thicker cord, you can use a piece of thinner cord or string to attach it to the eyemech.
Great tip!!! Thank you for sharing because I never thought of that.
Can you show how you use the rubber band on the pure neemo x small body. I am guessing it is to help with the wobbly neck?
hello, I am also new to Blythe and would like to know the reason for the rubber band. please and thank you

Thank you for sharing

kew, ty :) I've seen a lot on ebay, including rainbow colors from 0.5-0.8mm :)
Can please explain what the T bar is? I'm new to these dolls and would like to try customizing my own.
Sure! Maybe I will try to do a "parts" video next time. Stay tuned!
Thank You. It was very helpful video:)

Same here for me dear .. I use my finger to change the eyes.. sad... I don't get the click sound anymore 😕

@@winstonchaychel when i pull one cord it just closes the eyes and the other one opens them but the eyeballs don’t switch. how do i fix this?
@@literallieme you have to pull the closing cord more. You'll hear the click. Then you pull the open cord.
@@literallieme it will feel like you're going to break Blythe, but I promise you won't if you followed this video to a T!
THANK U SO MUCH
Thank You !!!
Can you do a boy blythe?
Hello! This is a very good idea and one I have planned for the future. Stay tuned!
