- bth I started watching the crown for Diana, but I had to wait for 3 seasons to get to her story.
I must admit this season was the best season yet. Emma's and Gillian's performances were brilliant.

All the men in the Crown are always offended by a woman outstanding them. Phillip, Kennedy, Prince Charles, etc. It is exhausting but so true
it's how history has always been, and sadly, how it still is sometimes

Emma Corrin absolutely knocked it out of the park. Playing one of the most iconic women in world history is not an easy task, but she nailed it.

it irritates me how everyone feels only sorry for her. Charles never wanted to marry her he was basically forced to. He always wanted Camilla so they were both tortured.

I was making a point that she was more beloved as a Princess of our hearts which she stated in several interviews.I do apoligise if you are against others having an opinion.

Her instant emotional connection, & rapport with those she met is a sign of huge emotional intelligence. She outclassed the rest of the royals because her style of a more modern, empathetic monarchy didn't suit their own agenda's.
Emma did a wonderful job on portraying young Diana!! I wish we had more scenes of her in Season 4!! "She knows how to make people feel good, that's a God given talent" RIP the People's Princess 💖
I draw her portrait years back. Just one day I grab a watercolor and did it spontaneously. The charity works are astounding, she putting the spotlights to rather miniscule issues adressed at that time, definitely one step ahead of a lady. Sadly she was mentally abused for something she shouldn't supposed to care onto. Say what you want, but life is sometimes unfare. So, kind of relieved to see how she handled herself afterwards and through it all. PTSD... all those are greatly related to whatever she went through. In the interviews, you can see she responded with gestures of confusions and trying to hold herself from tears, as if she think the cycle would never end and she couldn't talk to just about anyone on top of it, considering she's joyous type of human. It was just so contradicting. Far fetched from her original persona. People's princess... remarkable icon... rip

To be completely honest the name 'Lady Diana Spencer' or ever 'Dutch' sounds much pleasing to my ears, here we are today she's till in our hearts like she said herself. Di is literally immortal, we all can't get enough of despite her being HUMAN. So all I can say is not RIP Di, I'd rather say Long Live our timeless and ageless Di.

I can't believe how once upon a time a woman of such beauty was forced to endure such a painfully lonely married life. She doesn't deserve that treatment. I don't know about you guys but I see Charles as a dick. If you followed his portrayal in this season you'll know he gets envious of Diana's success (which is so absurd). Her success is his success he should've just seen it that way I guess. Now I know why Brits hate him. Should anyone succeed to make a time machine do make us a favor will you and save that poor girl from a life of misery.

I still dont understand why she is called princess. Like I know people love her and that she was lovely and it shows respect and I lovee that, but my historical head just says - the woman who marries a prince is not princess, you must be born as princess. Always when I see it, I am torn 😂

Umm, why is there so much bashing on Camilla instead of Charles? I don't understand, all these name-calling is making me feel uncomfortable and it feels very misogynistic. I'm pretty sure Lady Di wouldn't like that at all 🙁
Because even the week before the wedding Camilla was visiting him. She could have made herself scarce. According to senior staff in multiple documentaries ,Charles lied in his TV interview that he only started seeing Camilla once his marriage hit the rocks. To quote Diana's butler, when asked if Camila was always there or , only when the marriage faltered: "Camilla never really went away".

The Monarchy should shine - not the Monarch
Diana allways wanted the limelight - she was a missmatch for the Position.
Camilla suits the Job as Princess of Waled much more.
Diana brought so much positivity, love into the world. So sometimes it doesn't matter jf the monarch shines more than the monarchy. I understand what you r saying but having the power like Diana had, also important to affect and change the world.
Diana brought the role into modern world. She effectively showed how 'human' and 'warm' the Royals could be, which was not preferable for them obviously but it also endeared them to their people.
