I know it's a cheesy film, but even in "Letters from Julliet" she was incredible... The one that I adore is "Coriolanus"... Her Vollumia (title character mother) was fantastic. Her performance as the crazy hunchback nun Sister Jeanne in "The Devils" was also superb. Adore her! She's my favorite actress.
My first encounter with Vanessa Redgrave was in Camelot. Ever after, I believe I've seen everything she's ever done & I still admire her--even more, perhaps.
“Wetherby” would be my favourite film but I know she’s been in much better ones, such as Howard’s End, in which she just steals the show. Like a poem, or a musical movement.
In the US, we dont see a lot of her work. She was excellent in Julia, and I Loved her in CAMELOT. ☝BUT, I think, as much as I Loved her in Camelot, Id have to say I also Loved her in the rarely seen (in the US) film, Isadora. A film about the life of Isadora Duncan. I feel that film is a jem that so many are missing out on. My best to you all.🙂❤
