Story 3, that EM doesn’t have one screw loose, she left the factory without them. Assaulting a minor, who is INJURED btw, and thinks her daughter shouldn’t have to follow the rules is just unhinged behavior. She should’ve been left in jail.

      Not really astonishing really.
There was a (usually male) coach stepping in and preventing two middle aged women from hitting each other. I do not know many sah moms that can overmatch a more often than not trained sports coach. Amateurs child league or not both moms combined were likely not a match for that coach.
From the principle of things you'd be correct.

When the police got to her house, they looked out her window and saw nothing but a hedge blocking the neighbor's window she claimed she could see him through. I understand a need for "me time" but you do not do it like that. Arrange for a sitter and book an appointment. I worry about the kids this has happened to. I hope they can look back, as adults, and remember what it felt like so they don't do it to their children.

I truly hope that CPS took custody of that child away-long term. (Or that there is another parent or care giver in this child’s life).
Agree that this insane Karen intentionally borrowed a dog to dupe the dog sitters-and actually thought this would work!
That woman has no business raising a child!

    • @mikoto7693
      @mikoto7693 2 роки тому +9

I had a good suspicion about the story as soon as the pet care business was mentioned and yet I still managed to feel light vestiges of surprise.
How on Earth did the mother possibly think that plan would work? And in what reality did she think that a pet sitter would see a seven year old human child instead of a dog, shrug and provide minimal and illegal care of a child?
I was sixteen before I was finally allowed to stay home instead of going on holiday and my brother was fourteen in that I counted as the responsible adult at 18.
It boggles the mind. Calling you boss and CPS is literally the only sane thing anyone could do in that situation. Couldn’t leave the kid with a neighbour and even if a relative lived close by CPS still needs to know due to the many Safeguarding laws in place.
If the mother is willing to leave her seven year old kid alone in the house except for three very short visits from an adult, you do have to wonder what other dangers or neglect the child faces.

The first story reminds me of a joke: A lady walks into a bank to borrow $2,000 USD. The loan person asks what asset she will put up in case she didn't pay back the loan. The lady said "My Audi." So the guy does the loan and takes the keys. So during the month lease. The loan person looks up the lady. They find out that her and her husband are millionaires. Well after a week and a day the lady comes back and pays the $2,000 dollars back. The loan guys tells her that she still needs to pay the the interest and the lady paid it. The loan guy then asks the lady "why would you borrow $2,000 dollars when you and your husband are millionaires?" The lady then says "Well...... where else am I going to park my expensive car for 12.50 and have it be in the same condition?"

This was originally intended as a smart blonde joke. She didn’t have a garage, city parking only, but still rich. She was going out of town, and didn’t want to leave her nice car on the road without someone here. So she went to a bank, took out a $2,000 loan on her $200,000 car. Everyone was calling her a dumb blonde because she could have gotten much more for her car and they drove it into the bank’s garage. 2 weeks later she comes back from her trip and picks the car up. And they ask her what she was thinking and she made the comment at the end and left them all flabbergasted.

Ugh... Second story just reminded me of my mum's neighbour, only the kid was 10 and he knocked on our door because his mother left the house before he came back from school and didn't tell anyone. The kicker? She didn't even give the kid a key because apparently he could "lose" it. My mum was furious over the incident and to this day she barely acknowledges her neighbour. The kid is now in his 20s. I still feel bad for him.
My mum didn't call anyone because she knew the grandmother. Unfortunately, the boy's grandmother was out of town for work that day and wasn't due to return for a few days. She was horrified with her daughter's actions and apologised to my mother. The grandmother sent my mum some money to cover food for the kid for the day and sent the kid's older brother (18 at the time, they have different father and the older brother lived with his father, went to school with my cousin so I knew him) to get the kid. It never happened again, I assumed because Grandmother went off on the mother.

I heard a story about a young girl, about 8-10 years old whose wealthy parents had a long time nanny.
The nanny unexpectedly quit on the family just prior to the parents' month long childfree European vacation, so they had to scramble to get a new nanny.
A new nanny was hired, but before they left for Europe, their daughter saw her parents doing something rather curious with their prized silverware, where, as the parents explained to their daughter, they were "safeguarding their valuables."
Even at that young age, the girl wondered to herself, "Ain't I'm a valuable?"
Her parents were more actively concerned about their silverware vs. the safety of their daughter at the hands of a new nanny for a month while they're overseas.
But, at least, the parents didn't try to hire/scam a dog sitting service to look after their child while on vacation...that stunt defies all sane reasoning.

    • @HumanZombie99

I mean, what were they supposed to do with the daughter? Presumably they locked the cabinet the silverware was in or hid them somewhere. You can't lock the daughter in her room for a month or pick her up and hide her behind the bookshelf. Besides, picking up a silver spoon or two and selling them is much easier and less risky then kidnaping someone's daughter and doing something with that.

Yes Entitled parents trying to force random people into taking care of their kids is more common than people realise. Had it happen to me when I was volunteering at a charity shop (10+ years ago). The entitled parent just left her kid in the shop, by the children's section (toys and books) while she went for a hair and nail appointment. Apparently the paternal grandparents were regulars and couldn't look after the kid (Hospital appointment). The manager called the grandfather and he left his wife alone in the hospital, having some tests and came to pick up his granddaughter and talk to police. Well when the father found out, he was away on a business trip, he divorced his wife. I think she got a prison sentence and was deported back to Nigeria afterwards.

Probably because there was too much animosity from the divorce for her to want to contact her stbx. Plus she probably didn't want to give him extra ammo for a custody battle (so she, ironically, ended up giving him much more ammo than just dumping the kid on him would have done). What I wonder is why she wanted custody in the first place, since she clearly doesn't want to be a mum. Child support? Or just because she hates her ex so much that she doesn't want him to have access to someone he loves?

The supposed mother in that first story is beyond unbelievable!! However, I'm also struggling to understand that people go away and leave their DOGS for 2 weeks!! Paying a company to come in 3 times a day to feed them is just utterly cruel!! Those poor animals will think they're being abandoned, there is no-one there when they scared at night, no-one to play with, cuddle or be loved by, in my mind those people are as guilty of abandonment as that mother! When you have a dog their wellbeing and care should be your main job, if you have to go away, they should be looked after by someone they know, trust and love either in their own home or the carers. You simply cannot care for a dog for 3 x 15min slots a day. I'm appalled that this is legal in the US because it isn't in the UK, here you'd get a huge fine, prison and a ban on keeping dogs!

Oh. Mygod! I saw the exact bathrobe story happen in person at my college about a decade ago! Dead serious, I was taking an art class and we had a nude model. Well, we had three nude models the teacher would cycle through, on that particular day was the male model. Halfway through class the teacher let us out for a break, so the model put on his bathrobe and a pair of sandals and went to the nearest smoking area (California has some pretty intense laws on where you can smoke on a school campus). It was a bit rainy, so he also took an umbrella that was bright and colorful, the full rainbow on display. On the way there a different teacher stopped him to ask if he was naked under his robes and to yell at him about how he's on campus and how dare he. The model's response was of course that he was covered up by the robe, that he was there to be a nude model for an art class, and she could talk to the teacher that HIRED him if she wanted. And honest to god she though he was a danger to children... on a COLLEGE campus. What children? Everyone in the class is over eighteen. Eventually she shut up and let him go after grumbling some limp warning at him to not do it again. The model said he'd done that plenty of times all semester long and never had that happen, he thought the brightly colored rainbow umbrella was what caught the Karen's attention. Anyway, we spent the rest of class asking each other "Are you naked under your clothes?"

    Story 4:
Wh- what? I thought most people don't wear anything under robes/bathrobes. I thought the whole point was to cover the body like clothes, but for when you aren't wearing enough to be considered "appropriate"
I think the most I've ever seen anyone wear with a bathrobe is some underwear (this could just be me, I don't wear bathrobes often anymore)

Respect for the last story. I became a nudist out of comfort more than anything (I really hate the way clothes feel on my body q.q) and the best byproduct that I was 100% not expecting was the complete removal of my body insecurities or self consciousness. Those of you who hate your body like I did may really benefit from spending your home time naked with yourself.

One time a rich man moved into our neighborhood and a few days later I was looking out mu kitchen window and saw some of my trees falling over. I sent my cousin down to see what was going on. The new neighbor was sawing some of my trees down and he told. I my cousin he was cutting the trees down so he could have a better veiw. I told him to stop or get arrested. Boy some people have allot of nerve!!!!

If the dad doesn't get full custody of his daughter after Karen left her alone like that often enough for the police to expect it, the judge is clearly soft in the head..
Um, isnt that like asking if your naked under your clothes?

I'm not surprised by story #2. I witnessed one couple leave one of their daughters behind while they went to a laundromat. For some reason, they seemed to have thought they had her in their vehicle because she was out of sight. We didn't do anything about because there were other neighbors of theirs outside, but I wish we would have since through multiple false reports to cps and the apartment complex's office caused my sister and niece to get kicked out of their apartment as well as spreading rumors to the nearest neighbors around the complex tarnishing her reputation to them all all while her and her husband were both abusive and neglectful towards their children, having been turned into cps multiple times themselves, but never having anything come of it.

in the last story, what the guy should do is slowly work his way into his house while Karen yelling at him and what he could do is look around out side to make sure no one else was around and remove his robe in front of Karen and tell her to have a nice day then close the door on her shock😵 face😁.

We are all naked under our clothes. That last Karen should be arrested, too. LOL 😜

Karen: *kicks a kid's ankle because she doesn't believe that they're hurt*
Me: "Oh now you fucked up"

Story 2: I guess that Karen now has lots of me time. Good for the dad.
