Someone else posit that the 'I create, manipulate, your kind in my image my chosen ones' has dual meaning as Athena is manipulating but is also being manipulated by Ultima through the auracite.

fun fact, my first run of p9 i got lucky and the music dropped and i rolled a 99 on it. also, i find it interesting that the tireless one and one amongst the weary are basically the same song with slightly different beats

Well, The Tireless One is a remix/mashup of the entire raid series. This theme had a callback to Asphodelos, since Pandæmonium and all that. So yeah
For anyone interested this song has a BPM of 155.

I want to give you some kudos for uploading this with the sound effects still on, because Pandaemonium's voice lines give this an even creepier vibe

while the voices not having been turned all the way off is unfortunate it also made me laugh that pandaemonium said 'stay where you are' and the black mage was like 'ok lol' and used their ley lines
I don't know who's singing this song, but these vocals, especial starting at 1:05 ( and later in 2:00) in the background is stellar.

I feel like FFXIV has been veering into Persona/SMT with its boss designs. I like it. Makes it great to show these fights with no context to people who haven’t played the game
Kokytos (P9) looks too much like Serph from Digital Devil Saga that i think im going crazy

Took a moment to remember from where, but I like how some of the lyrics carry the same rhythm from Hic Svnt Leones (example: 1:22-2:00).
I noticed this too and it has a similar beat to Scream from the last set of raids
All of the panda raids are musically connected and its honestly awesome P12 is an amalgamation of all of them
what the fuck is that nightmare and how much do i have to give square to let me go into it solo with a flamethrower
have you considered the possibility that "scream all you like, your gods can't hear you" is corrupted here to "your god can hear you"? would make sense, in the context of the story, though admittedly straining your ears for the presence or absence of such tiny sounds behind all these filters is, not the best use of time.

man my first time in p10 was a nightmare with duty finder, half the team, which included the healers were just not keeping up, wasted almost the whole timer and when it was done I forgor my loot after that carry where I had to LB2 twice on tank to dampen damage the healers needed to heal on, pretty fun though, would do again
I just queued into it with one friend, he was tank and I was healer, it was miserable. We had dps stack in the tank busters, people walking into the poison, I was sobbing trying to keep everyone alive
When my party wiped on 'Harrowing Hell' (sp), the move at 4:50, I was totally thrown off guard and for a loop XD I was on dps
@@teeteeff7 That's the attack I have to LB2 on as my DRK with my group of randos, everytime just to survive with enough people to finish the fight lmao
My runs on P10 was fun and fine, had little issues

I think HC keeps the background noise on for unofficial lyric videos and fully turns them off for the official lyrics, they've done this before lol
