Good luck! I'd also recommend looking at the Adventures in Japanese textbook series. It's mostly used in high schools, so it goes a little slower, but it goes more in-depth into some things (ex-giving directions, different ways to say "or," etc) than Genki does. Also, there's videos with songs to help you remember Te-Form. :) I think the one that follows the melody of "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" is the most helpful.
