Kraven and yuri’s portrait of symbiote peter are the highlights of the game
I liked kraven i just wish we could have seen him actually do more hunting of all the Spider-Man characters
I’d love an what if game where you are kraven and must hunt down all spidey villains and friends
Would’ve been a great side mission/crime opportunity. Kraven and/or his goons going after supervillains. Perhaps it would’ve been nice to have seen Shocker, Electro and Vulture in the flesh that way for a while.
Kraven easilu and effortlessly killed the Spider man, that’s badass
It was great plot elements, but I still think this universe Spider man is nowhere near where he should be power-wise. He is so much stronger than that. No one but the absolute best villains should really be much of a physical match for him. He holds back when he fights everyone to avoid killing them. That is the true extent of his powers. He is nerfed in this game except in Symbiote Rage mode where you get more like the actual ease he could tear through bad guys.
I never liked the idea of Kraven being a major villain and threat I just didn't think he was a good villain but after playing this game I have a very different outlook I think he's more intimidating than Venom mainly because he just wiped out half the rogues gallery without breaking a sweat the dudes a beast and I love it. His death scene was so satisfying as well showing respect to venom for beating him by just letting venom go for the kill I thought he was going to resist but He has this weird moral code I love it he's so complex
Kraven is an S tier villain for me now. I didn't know Kraven could be done so well in any medium. And im so glad they didn't have him cowering in fear when he fought Venom. He looked death in the face and said "come get me" He had some hard ass lines too and reminded me of Kratos in alot of ways. And that theme 😢. What a great villain
Edit: Also the music that plays during his fight with Venom is called "At last" and i advise you listen to it, its hard asf and is something straight out of GOW
Kraven was done so fkn well. Great motivation probably the best adaptation of Kraven we’ve gotten. Man just wanted to fight an equal and die at their hands instead of nature’s. Fantastic score as well.
Not really they barely made it clear that he was even dying so much so that I’ve seen people beat the game without figuring that out also dude came in killed all the legacy villains off screen then got bodied by Peter and venom easily. Do they want him to look powerful or weak? This game needed twice the length to flesh out each character properly. Kraven comes off as completely half baked. Like am I crazy or do they not even explain how he got so fucking rich? Are you just supposed to have read kravens last hunt in order to get what their doing 🤔

Im kinda disappointed how insomniac killed of Spider-Man villains like electro, vulture, and shocker offscreen
And possibly even rhino ☹️
I don’t know why it’s disappointing, they were heavily involved in the first game and it added to the stakes in this game to see that some of them can die. It’s not like they confirmed killed any characters we’ve yet to see in these games so it lets them progress and keep it fresh.
It is kinda sucks that they were killed offscreen. But I still feel the effect of it- their deaths added for how much of a badass and powerful kraven is
@@TwixCaravanHe didn’t imply the idea of them dying was disappointing, it was the execution (or lack there of because they all died offscreen).
I was legit worried for Peter and Miles. This version of Kraven was really terrifying.
Can I just say Kraven becoming venom was a small dream of mine. Think it would’ve made this and excellent story about what people will do for power and to heal themselves.
I love the fact he caused us to fight sandman, and lizzard and they werent just brought up out of no where and the way it caused Peter to get the suit and cause venom
I'm so glad that they did him so good in this game it was phenomenal he's no joke whatsoever. Especially in the comics, the only thing I wish he used more of his knifes in the fight. But other than that he was great
After playing Spider-Man Kraven falls short because we never got to see him hunt we saw his goons but not him. There should have been a few missions where Kraven hunts Villains and Spider-Man rescues them and Kraven learns more and more about Spider-Man so he can finally hunt him. Also we didn't get to see him hunt the villains he killed.
Yeah that's the only cool thing he did off screen. But still the best Kraven
for Kraven the one time i actually agree with spider man and his no kill rule
I think it would have been prefect and fitting for Kraven to die in jail

actually rhino did get killed by Kraven, there seems to be an Easter egg, put in by the devs that shows all of the villains heads mounted on a wall next to Kraven’s throne. Look it up.
I wish he had more screen time and I wish he wasn’t killed off what I felt like was too soon. His death felt a bit sudden to me I was thinking he’d be around until the end hunting Venom. Felt like he was only around to set up Venom as the eventual main villain
Kraven had perfect amount of screentime. It's Venom that doesn't so much
Is Rhino still alive in this game anyways? Or did Phin kill him in the MM game? I thought that was the point of him not showing up in this one. We had a repeat battle with him in that game and he died. And then the rest of the lesser villains from the first game died in this one or got stripped of their powers in Martin's case. That clears the board for it to just be Doc Oc and Green Goblin, with the possibility for other new ones to be introduced as well if they would like.
also I'm hoping they make a smaller size Spider-man game and have it's story be about the spiderverse. I think it could be a neat little spin-off that can tie into beyond the spiderverse when it releases and gives us a brief look into what an insomiac spiderverse could be eventually. It wouldn't impact spider-man 3 and would be a fun hold over until that third game
this would open the door for electro, vulture and shocker to make appearances but in different styles as the ones in the insomiac universe are dead

@@shantaehalf-geniehero4318Hes dead. When you play as MJ you find his suit aswell as a audio log of Kraven calling him a disspoinment. Kraven kills Scorpion, Vulture, Shocker, and Electro and there are hints that hes also killed Rino but its easy to miss so i don't blame you for not knowing
@@shantaehalf-geniehero4318No, he’s dead. His gear can be found in the sneaking section of “Good Men”. Kraven even describes him as “weak of body and mind”.
You’re probably thinking of Rhino, who is strangely never referred to in the entirety of 2, aside from being briefly seen on the map of New York being shown to Kraven.
They could make an animated version of NY and do a spin off spiderverse on animation game… with another spider hero

Just in their first faceoff, and by then spiderman didn't know what to expect. But when we reach the boss fight...boy did peter give him a hard time (and let's not forget that miles couldn't defeat him as well)
I personally didnt like kraven. His storyline entry of a random person put of nowhere just wanting to hunt and kill anyone. I just didnt buy into that. And found it stupid tbh
Ummm Kraven is always about the hunt and finding worthy opponents. Always has been him.

@kingofthe313 I do know who kraven is. But his character just doesn't interest me at all. Majority of people don't like MJ in the games. I loved MJ missions in this one. Especially when the second and third time you play as her. My point. Some charecters you like and some you don't. I just don't like kraven.
I suppose some characters aren't for everyone, the hunter villain trope is one I love and Kraven is one of the best examples. Though i'm curious on how tou take it he's random? New for sure, but couldn't any new villain that pops up be classified as such. It's not like it didn't make semse for him to show up to new york given his motives
Kinda a boring euro accent villain imo, I don’t find it realistic the “brutes” and his hunters being tough, Spider-Man literally holds punches back to avoid punching through people he’s pretty powerful so selling me why the bass pro shop villain is tough is just okay to me, he’s a fun villain but he’s not amazing Spider-Man should easily Whoop his ass In virtually any scenario
Bro killed scorpion in ten seconds and the same poison that nearly packed Peter, had 0 effect on him
