@400dom You can use an electric guitar on the day, but it won't be amp'd up, so it will make less sound but it WILL count towards the record attempt, yes. In fact any handheld stringed and plucked instrument counts, so ukeleles, sitars, etc are all fine as long as you can play the three chords on them. So the website for details guitarsonthebeach.co.uk

this might sound a bit dum but i find my self having only elc guitars would this be ok to bring 1 of them to the beach and would u want me to bring my amp or just a guitar thanks dom

You are playing it wrong The D chord should be played first then C chord second during the rave on bit
