50. Berlin Marathon 2024

More than 53,000 runners from 161 nations, one million spectators, 80 music bands and 6,000 volunteers celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Berlin Marathon. As always the peaceful, happy marathon weekend made me very proud of my hometown. We run for peace, for love, for humanity and against stupidity and racism.
Thanks to everyone who made this 50th Berlin Marathon possible. The opening ceremony on Friday evening was great!
