+ still smiling when I'm approaching the car + driving it is so comfortable + design 3x + front seats (but maybe it's because what I have driven before) - small trunk (actually I compare it to my previous car but had no problem yet) - no android - back seats: no, a closed box ideal for those who use it alone or for two people who likes to smile a lot question of the day: people tend to say it's a car for women. not sure why I love it's design
I have the 2018 and I've put 150,000 miles on it. Overall I absolutely love it and I get compliments everywhere I go. I take it camping fold the seats down and load it full of all my camping supplies. It has never been in the shop and has never given me a moment's trouble. I do agree they could have made a few upgrades to the stereo system and to the connectivity. I also agree that I wish it had a little more pickup when trying to pull out in a hurry. If you switch it to sports mode you get a little more peel out, however it takes time to get to the correct settings to switch it so it's not something you can do in a hurry.
I bought a CHR for my daughter and we both LOVE this car. The high quality feel in the interior won me over. Only complaint I have is it should have a V-6. I would recommend buying a CHR !!
I’m not a fan of the rear, but this car feels much more desirable with the leather seats and apple CarPlay. I think paying almost 30k with destination and taxes is a little too much. There would have to be some serious dealership discounts. All in all I’m glad they decided to make it more interesting. The interior touches are very nice for the price point. Love the doors and steering wheel. We’ll have to see about that rear leg room though
I agree on the leather/ carplay! But yeah once you get that stuff the price is too much for this vehicle IMO. I’d assume some discounts would be available hopefully. Thanks for the input 👍
pretty fair review I am so pissed I cant find the 2020 CHR in no dealership and was stuck getting a used 2019 XLE model that doesnt have LED headlights or Android Auto. I had sun roof on my 2018 Toyota Corolla XLE but I barely open it since it humid in Florida.
I was quite curious about this car since few months ago. As you said, the 2019 model is quite good, specially the Limited Edition one. I bought one thinking is the same interior as the Hybrid one (UK/Australia/Asia) but there was no blue interior light. Overall, my 2019 CH-R Limited is a good car for my daily commute.
Thank you. So far it's a good commute car. I do share what you said about not having a sunroof. That quite sucks. Great video btw, keep up the good work.
I agree with the no sunroof option 💯. The styling has grown on me the more I see them, but I just do not get the rear door. I’d give up some “style” for a more functional rear door. Great video as usual Nolan!
Hi. Great revieuw. I drive a chr 2017 exectutive hybrid in Holland with available options such as led day and running lights, led turn signals and the jbl premium soundsystem with subwoofer. Likes: handling, electronic features, automatic parking, soundsystem and looks very much. Dislikes: interiur sound. Max speed 180 kmh. Greetings Michael.
This is a super niche vehicle. I wonder how many Toyota sells? Must be enough if they’re keeping it around through 2019 at least. Like you said it might be attracting some Scion buyers...
Yeah it really is. I’m curious about it too...since I did the review on this car of course I’ve noticed a lot more of them lol. It still not seeing a lot.
Great review, Considering on purchasing a 2019 C-HR , is the lack of power really a deal breaker? Love all your reviews, I’m a big fan. Keep up the good work bro 👍🏻
Thank you very much, I really appreciate that! The power is definitely adequate, and in town it really feels fine..especially in sport mode. My concern would be if you do regular merging onto the freeway or need to pass on highways etc. it’s good enough..but I would definitely like more. It would probably be just fine for the most part though!
The lack of power might be a deal breaker for me because I live in Los Angeles where traffic is pretty aggressive. Merging onto the freeway here you'll need some get-up-and-go power cause they won't let you in.
That’s definitely something to consider. Sometimes you really gotta step on it to get going and then it’s scary when traffic is flying right up on you lol
Dominique Ransom it has 1 fast charging USB in front of the shifter, and 1 12volt charger inside the center console, which isn’t much. I’m not sure why they don’t offer more, it’s odd. Like you said, for younger buyers they need more
@@PrimeAutotainment Thanks, Prime I was trying to figure it out because the website does not really provide video or pictures on the charger features. The visual of the model is winning, but for the price, I guess I can't complain much. Usually, it's hard to find cars with nice features on the inside but the outer body style is dated. Where like you said this car has the style I am sure in the future they will improve the features and this could be a constant win-win for everyone!
Yes it is louder than expected. I’ve driven this one in the video and a 2019 Limited recently ...I took decibel ratings on interstate at high speeds and rough textured road and the 2019 limited registered quieter (might be an error) but it’s still fairly noisy inside
No hybrid in North America? I got myself a chr 2019 hybrid with EVERYTHING. JBL soundsystem, leather seats etc. The hybrid it's what's different from it's competitors.
Low on power, no AWD, cramped back seat, low visibility in the back, small trunk, noisy inside, strange rear door handle placement, complex engine system usually spells problems in the future, no thank you.

I’ve just brought my new CHR. Turbo. Love this car. Australia

That’s great to hear! A V6 would be awesome!
Your thoughts on the blind spots?
This car is brill love it to bits the dislikes are minor and for speed or a little kick I put it into sports mode 🏎 💨 💨💨💨💨
Great video, as always! I really like these Top 5 Likes & Dislikes videos! Keep it up, Nolan!!!
Thank you very much! I plan on Doing more 5 likes dislikes with most press cars
I drove the chr in England. The hybrid version is great
Bought one in 2021. LOVE IT!
If everything goes well, I will be getting this vehicle on Wednesday

picking up a nice shiny red hibrid up on friday, I cant wait
I’ve got a U.K. spec excel and I love it
Toyota should make more options future for Toyota chr, such as sun roof, stick shift, awd, and town hitch. Plus, more hp as honda crv.

I would like it IF, more power and AWD. I like the unique exterior design, something like the Juke.
I agree! Hopefully with a “refresh” they add those two things. That’d be great!
I have a 2019 and love it
Thanks for the reviews. Can you tell me that does TSSP is also standard for 2022 base model hybrid?

WarlockHaseo thank you! Glad to hear it. At least you’ll never have to worry about a leak or breaking from hail 😅
Hahahaha. That's true xD

Thank you very much! Yeah certainly a quirky little vehicle...I would also rather have a normal door lol

Thank you Michael. That’s awesome, thanks for sharing your thoughts as an owner and for watching!
What about the blind spots?
Do you know if all lcds are mirror link ready?
It's a beautiful vehicle l don't understand why they have a sunroof.

The CHR is very populair in Europe.
I’ve been looking into the 2019 and it has a moon roof here in Canada.. haven’t seen one without it?.. strange
That’s interesting! Thanks for letting me know
The 2019 in canada does not have a moonroof or sunroof in any trim, just bought one recently
I don't know what your talking about. There is no sunroof and no AWD in Canada, sorry.
Why can’t we get manual transmission in the states?

I bought one in October and the power feels great for a vehicle that gets 30+ mpg in town!

Going June 1 I'm happy with it
For younger buyers why doesn't it have a charger in the front like the Honda version???

Glad to hear it, thank you!
With this info l might have to reconsider a Toyota Rava4.
I would definitely spend the extra $ to get the RAV4
sir , can you do a video for kia forte ( cerato ) 2019 ? please
I will try! Kia just gave me the first vehicle (a Sportage) so I’ll see if I can get a forte soon!
I. Like brake Hold ...your feet free at long (or short)red light
When will Toyota bring the Hybrid to USA markets?
Diana Witty I haven’t heard any news in that 😕
i heard a lot of complaints that it is noisy inside during drive, did you notice that too?
Yes it is louder than expected. I’ve driven this one in the video and a 2019 Limited recently ...I took decibel ratings on interstate at high speeds and rough textured road and the 2019 limited registered quieter (might be an error) but it’s still fairly noisy inside

Rydro Casto yeah it surprises me! Good choice, you got a nice one!
Where did you purchase your hybrid?
I do not agree with you on the acceleration. My 2019 CHR accelerates like a maniac
Love the car..
How is this a "Living With" video?
Your dislikes are not important to me, thanks for pointing out the likes, l like this car.
It has AWD. Are you mistaken? My CHR has 4WD
What country are you in? It’s not offered in United States
@@PrimeAutotainment Hi. Its Colombo. mine is XLE-Premium Limited Ed. 2019 is equiped. Greater Pulling power with the 4 WD.
Will it transform into a robot at night ? 😁
That would be sweet...but it didn’t do that for me!
No AWD is actually a deal breaker 🙄
Moonroof a leak dude.
I don't like the screen to much high up👎
put turbo on it

Crappy rear window visibility
