I read a car mag saying that that they are making 2020's with 4x4. Not sure how true it is. The main reason it doesn't, is Toyota said they couldn't fit it in and keep the same body style. Not sure how difficult that is, but it sure would be nice.
The diamond pattern on the outside of the car as well as the inside, on the ceiling? Same aerodynamics, which is pretty brilliant. Duuuuude. What an EXCELLENT review of this car. I JUST bought one, thank you very much ;), and if you don't really get a review like this, it's overwhelming! I'm sure, if they keep perfecting these, that I'll trade up but for now, I got a killer deal on a 2018 w/ 21,000 miles for only $18.5K. I'm loving it so far. I wish I could have gotten the Premium but they are so hard to find unless you buy brand new, 2019. Those that bought the 2018's aren't letting them go! Noice car! For those of you considering buying one, be careful because some places are overpricing them since they're so popular. When I say overpricing, I mean they're $5K over what they're appraised at.

I have had my CH-R for two days now and I am getting used to the smaller car and the CVT coming from a bigger Highlander with a V6 engine. The Highlander was eating me up as far as gas goes, so I wanted a smaller commuter option. So far so good! I learned a few things about my car from watching your video. Great review!
My son picked the CH-R Premium as his first new car. He commutes to college, and he really loves the car. It drives very nicely, due to the new global platform. He got his in black.

If only this had apple carplay in the beginning I would of gotten this car used. I'm so lucky I got the 2019 XLE edition used. The 2020 and 2021 are all sold out in Georgia Toyota dealerships.
Another cool thing if you have your fob in your pocket and your car is locked you can press the trunk latch lightly and it unlocks the car which is pretty sweet

I researched all of the cars in this class. #1. C-HR #2. C-X3 and #3. HRV were my top picks until I found the Hyundai Kona. A white Hyundai Kona Limited is the car I finally purchased two weeks ago and I'm loving the car!!! I must be one of the first on the road here in Dallas. More car, similar tech, solid build, tight ride, dual clutch 7 speed transmission (NO CVT thank goodness!), fast (especially switching from normal to sport mode, it's like getting 2 cars in one) and great styling all for less 💰💰 with a better warrantee. The only thing I see when driving are heads turning and traffic in my rearview mirror!!!
I own one of these, mine is a black 2018..It reminds me of a dragon with the plated doors and design on the overhead. This car gets a bad rap for no power. On the highway there is plenty of get up qnd go. I get approached alot about what this car is...and this car gets a lot of looks.. Love my C- HR😍😍😍Also...In the back..all of the cargo coverings( hard plastic) are removable( velcro) to wash down..and plenty of room

I really like the C-HR. My option to afford one though is used, and the used ones here are coming only with two engines that both look like let-downs in specs : 116 HP 1.2 Turbo petrol and the similar HP Prius 1.8 petrol Hybrid. The torque especially of both engines on paper appear highly disappointing (i care a bit more about torque than horse power) for a vehicle of this size and weight. I am trying to get my hands on a test drive but till then (might take a while) would appreciate any impressions about those two engines on the C-HR :)

I've thought about buying this car, but am put off by the bad reviews on poor visibility to the sides (when looking back). What are your thoughts on (towards the back) side visibility? Also, is supposed to take "over" 10 seconds to go from 0 to 60. Would love your comments on that as well. Thanks.
In my opinion, the car is a small vehicle so the sight lines on the back windows are not an issue. My last car was a 2011 Camaro and those back windows are very bad. I use the side and back mirrors to drive so this is not an issue for me. As far as the time from zero to 60 goes, I found the car slower in acceleration than my Camaro of course but for me this also was not an issue. One thing you should absolutely do to answer both of your above concerns, test drive the car and you will definitely have the answers you seek. I love the car so for me it was a great choice. Is true is got a very small back visibility but the reverse camera will make it up for it , is show big reverse image n very bright even when is dark outside barely seen anything but reverse camera will show up nice n bright , wouldn’t miss n hit anything with 5 stars safety rating cap. Speed or power ... is true this car is not about power after all, is have only 1.2 turbo charge engine in it 16 valves. But in addition, this car does come in 3 different driving modes which alot of people complain the car lack of power without knowing it. It have Eco drive then normal n lastly (my favourite) Sport modes. Or I call it power or performance modes ... lol. Each modes put the car in a very different driving experience (which needed to feel it while driving it). I own a 2017 models n loving it. Just to be fair in comparison ... for a 1.2 litres engine it take very least petrol to drive it, (the least of petrol I have own out of all the car I own previously) and for the amount of power it put out in comparison the amount of petrol it take ... Is Excellent, Wonderful, Super (no words can describe it). Oh and it doesn’t cost much to fill the tank as well still giving u the same or more km/miles compare with other car.

We upgraded from 1.8 To 2L I’m not sure the difference to the America’s, if you ask your dealer they may be able to advise you..Just to say, the C-HR is the best car we have ever owned.. Looks great but it need's a more powerful engine. You know getting onto the freeway and laying down on the gas peddle and it get's up and go's? This vehicle just does not provide this type of get up and go. 😞😕

I was told the 2019 modle will have AWD being they dropped thr ball on it while doing it first time
It’s 2020 and still no awd, gps or moonroof. Also, that cvt and 144hp kills it for me.
Neat car but I'm hearing the cvt transmission in these are made of glass and cost 7k to replace outside warranty.

6cyl is not necessary anymore.
