You are so skilled to troubleshoot faults. I hope you will work on PS5 because there's a lot of "no power issues" that i'm sure you can fix. Continue your great work !
@@ToltecMerc Awesome ! @TheCod3r shares a lot on UA-cam to troobleshoot this kind of fault. But even if he passed to fix lots of PS5 sometimes it's a rabbit hole. But if the problem come from the PSU i'm really impatient to see how you'll work on it.
Hi, have you tried installing NCP1399 instead of DAP 049? They say that they are similar, but I wonder if this is true.. I will be grateful for your answer! Good repairs
Hi, good day, sir. I recently working for N160A006P (medel no: N17-160P1A), thus the issue was that there was absolutely no 12 volt output. But, there is 4.8 volt solid state standby power available. I've discovered that the board's PFC is only at 320 volts and won't go up to 400 volts, and the PFC IC is only receiving 1.16 volts when it should be 12 volts. Could you help advise me as to how to obtain 12 volts to the PFC IC? I'm trapped with this.
Another great video my friend. I've seen that red soldering mat before online but can't recall which one it is. I like the large minimal look of it. Do you know which mat it is? No biggy if not I'll find it. Keep up the great work my friend. Top notch.
can the 4A fuse be replaced by regular glass fuse of 4A? thats the only one available locally. also i have a blown dnp012ah chip. If i remove this chip should the standby 4.8v be still available once i replace the fuse (the resistor r1 is fine)?
A regular 4A fuse should work but should probably be a slow blow. I have not tried running a supply without the DNP012AH installed. That IC is the overall supervisor of the supply. Give it a try.
I have this exact problem with the 15v supply "wondering" but at idle. my 5v standby wont come up. I think it might be a bad ld5760 batch from china again as I cant find anything shorted.
Standby 4.8 voltage is gone after 12v loading (means short 5vsb and acdc stby) components look like ok , standbye VCC also fluctuating (DAP 046 vcc down to 10 to 11 volt) this complaint coming ps4 fat, slim and pro also , please explain

I just picked up a PS5 with No Power. Working on it today!

Never cease to impress. Bravo
Thank you very much sir!
At 27:18 how did you know that it wasn't a multi layer PCB and that that the lane didn't just pass through to another layer?

I have tried an NCP13992AB. It worked somewhat. It could be an NCP13992AF but I was unable to find any of those.
Inspiring fix. Definitely getting an oscilloscope

I have gotten some fake LD5760. They are out there. Still waiting on some good ones myself.
Can you share the link of the device used to compare the 2 boards .

Hi can u tell me if there is a difference between dap049 and dap049b
To be honest, I'm not sure. Sorry.
I love psu repair videos, obrigado
Do you still reccomend the ucore?
I like it and it's neat. That being said, I can't say that I have used it a whole lot lately.
Nice Jeep
Thanks. 2005. Bought it new.
Good job mate 👍
Thanks 👍
How did you learned brother

Just a PSU issue?
Yes. Some physical damage to the power supply PCB and a shorted IC.

you need the acin_detect 4,8v too !!!! is the pin1
ACIN_Detect is basically a power good signal from the power supply to the PS4 mainboard.
