Once again. I hope that this pans out cause I want some of those minis!! Love watching you talk about things you really enjoy. Thanks for making content for us!
Even though I did sit through the whole hour video to find out the one piece of news that you forgot to mention which was. Their favorite ice cream flavors. But, like you said you didn’t do this more the team. And just gave us the facts that we needed. Thank you Austin much appreciated! Keep up the great work! ❤
Back again, and really excited to see where this goes. As an old fan, I'm not upset that they aren't working on newer units or more historical units, untill they get AoA complete. I just hope it happens sooner rather than later. And to say, another banger video.
Also, I have to ask, as an old school fan, do you think the rule of using an extra move point to go up one tile stupid? If so, would you add a half tile to reduce the need to expend that move point? Also, would be nice to see stairs instead of just ladders.
I’m excited for AOA. I still have a lot of the original stuff. I’m sure they will bring out historical units later. I’d like to see American civil war or world war 1 units.
Yeah, totally agree with meeting the designers who gives a crap. It’s like the video game world. We got all these previews and behind the scenes videos, and the game ends up being horrible
3D prints are fine if they’re made well. It’s possible proxies for the old models can be used instead of scans. As for painting minis, it’s fun. Welcome to baby’s first warhammer clone lol
Haven't played any of them unfortunately. I know they've taken the helm of World of Darkness, and some Werewolf the Apocalypse stans aren't happy with it. But we'll see!
I just got done playing with my childhood heroscape sets with my girlfriend, super surprised and excited to hear that they will be maming it again. Hopefully they can match the quality of the original
As someone who is into paintining miniatures, it's kind of funny to me that "the minis aren't painted" is seen as a downside, especially considering how sloppy Heroscape, Mageknight, Heroclix etc paint can be. Obviously painted is better for accessibility & out-of-the-box, impulse purchase play, but for me it means I waste less acetone.
This is very exciting but man if they do not at least do the meh-bad paint jobs the originals had I don’t know if I will want to buy the game. The bright red and green plastic miniatures will just not fit with the old stuff.
Thanks for the shout out sir! Always love having you join the podcast.

Thanks Joe!
I had NO idea Heroscape was coming back!!!!
Bro this was my introduction to table top war gaming I’m so freaking stoked!!!
ME TOO
SOURCE + HEROSCAPE = GREAT. Also, Renegade Studios is exceptional and their track record is great, so I’m not too worried about this launching.
What a refreshing comment😂
I immediately came to the comments to see if anyone mentioned source, glad it was the first one
@@masterninjason157 100% my friend! I cannot wait and love the source tiles.

Thanks! I have a feeling it’ll be later rather than sooner, but we’ll see
@@tabletopbro well I know you'll keep us informed, your videos on the whole situation are great.

World War One units would be sick!
@@tabletopbro let’s go!
liking the MapleStory music, but man hope Heroscape stays around this time, I was a child when Heroscape was a thing so I never got to experience it
Well we get at least one release!
Yeah, totally agree with meeting the designers who gives a crap. It’s like the video game world. We got all these previews and behind the scenes videos, and the game ends up being horrible
I'd like to see this game for vr

bro, whos that sith lord in the bottom right, lol. 1:25
One of the designers, she ended up doing a “reveal” when it was her turn to talk. 10/10 for the razzmatazz from me
@@tabletopbro Oh, good stuff!
Question: How good is Renegade Game Studios at making games? I don't think I have ever played any of their games.
Haven't played any of them unfortunately. I know they've taken the helm of World of Darkness, and some Werewolf the Apocalypse stans aren't happy with it. But we'll see!
They are in charge of axis and Allies now. I bought 14 and the quality is just as good as the original.
I just got done playing with my childhood heroscape sets with my girlfriend, super surprised and excited to hear that they will be maming it again. Hopefully they can match the quality of the original
I don't think you're a filthy casual, even though I thought that I was your best friend. Good takes, good video. :)
Lmao thanks Ben!

The amount of nerds raging when it was announced they weren’t gonna be painted last year….

The fact that we got painted minis in the first release is a miracle of exploitation lmao
Let’s hope for a Gencon release.
That'd be GOATed
I expect this to be another Heroscape failure
How and why?
Whatever bro
