Love his relaxed technique- not worrying about wetting the paper😮! It worked so well and working around the white/light areas was no problem. Very kind of him to share his skills ❤
Love the way Tim presents how to be simpler - I saw the light after struggling for years!
Watching from Norfolk, UK.
So proud of you Tim! Linda from Nashville, Tennessee! I miss you and Missy!❤
Beautiful Art! Great Instructions! And, I love that Texas accent!
Tim is adorable. Thank you for your time :)
By the way I decided I'll just watch and not attempt as it looked so complicated in the beginning. But Tim really broke it down to manageable chunks and by the end of the demo I picked up the pencil and started sketching the scene. I will attempt it no matter what the results are. And I think that's the success of Tim as a teacher. Thank you Tim and thanks Eric.
I caught an episode on TV this afternoon, great show. (Acrylic of your wife on vacay looking at flowers) I'm psyched for this one, I do watercolors.
Thanks guys.
Love this artist !!! His attitude ,approach to painting is as instructive as his verbal description .
Profoundly grateful for Eric devoting so much energy to instruction.
Invaluable for all time.
Betty Smith, Columbus, MS. Really looked forward to this tutorial! There’S an old cotton gin out in the Delta that needs painting. Talk about a wonky perspective in a huge building! Just want to keep the memory of this place alive in my memory
Enjoying Tim so much! Thank you for featuring him today. Carol from Norway, MI
Awesome! I'm so glad I saw this video because Tim explained his technique very well!
Thanks so much Tim.
Love this presentation Mr Oliver.
Hwy 83. Having been born & raised in the greater Wellington, Tx metroplex, every image he describes returned me to my childhood of 70 years ago. 83 is one of two stop lights found in the metroplex of almost 2,500 souls in the Panhandle. Very little out there, but 1000's of great water / oil paint ideas. He does them all dramatic justice. Clearly he loves the area and what he does with it.
As a photographer, my husband always avoids power lines, but somehow in a painting, they add so much atmosphere, almost like spider webs. Also a good way to sneak in some birds.
Enjoying a first time experience watching this program. Love watching watercolorists painting as they share their techniques and tips. Thank you for airing this program.
Hi Eric! Watch repeats often. Keep up the good work!
Reevesville, SC

I just texted how great your Artist that you have .An you have a great personality an I never watched as many outstanding Artists. I live in sherman Texas. I painted for 55 years.❤
Fantastic teaching. Thank you.
I enjoyed seeing the Texas landscape through your painting! I had fun watching that old tin building come to life. Thank you
The way Tim explains things in as he goes makes this demonstration a great learning experience. Thank you.❤
From. The north East. Love observing. So many artists, so many styles/techniques. Something magical about WC! And painting in general! PAM/ri
I’ve got a nice set of artist minimal palette watercolours and brushes barely used and a couple pads of good cotton paper. I just couldn’t wrap my head around the whole process of wetting the paper and trying to time it for the right dampness. Doing wet on dry and drying between washes makes so much more sense and looks to provide that much more control that I’m going to get them out and give this method a go.
Watching from Dekalb Illinois going to start watercolor to keep me busy in retirement
Enjoyed learning new techniques in watercolor. I am new to this medium.
Great Tim and Eric. Tim and I share a few things. I’m a watercolor artist, I’m a landscape architect who operate a design build company, and I graduated from Texas Tech too, but nine years earlier in 1974. Really enjoyed the demo. Go big red.
Love your work, Tim!
I Deeply appreciate all that you do and have done for the Art community and the artists.
If I could physically and financially participate in your gathering, I would. I know there are a great number of others in the same situation.
Even though I cannot participate, I receive much joy knowing it is going on and others are participating, painting, teaching, sharing, and growing in wisdom and knowledge that eventually spreads to all of us in some form or another through the effort you and others continue to put forth.
Our world is a much better place, the art pictures show that, and the spirits of us all feel it.
Thank You and God Bless you all
I loved this demo. I wanted and was grateful to see a painter who didn't soak is paper first. He was able to carefully control where his paint went. He had control from beginning to end. I look forward yo more vid from Tim Oliver!!
