Look forward every day to new content joe , longer in depth ones like these are great , hectic is the motor trade , were a garage similar to yours family buisness with car sales , mot station / workshop flat out everyday dealing with everything 3 sold this week and just got home eating a pizza at 2.10 in the morning trying to get them ready for the customers ! I was on micro 4/3rd cameras for ages with SD cards ( like a DSLR )
Insane how easy the job is these days, once on iPhone 11 I'd never take anything but a pic with a camera phone now!
It's amazing how good the phone cameras are nowadays!

Just bare in mind that if you tow a trailer with the iveco it's combined weight will be in excess of 3.5t then you need a tacho fitted and an o licence , the law changed a while back
Yeah, it more involved for sure but may be worth the effort down the line 🤷♂️

Interesting that you are having a problem hiring a mechanic, getting decent tradesmen these days is a bit of a mare.
I suspect we are not far away from cars that self diagnose completely so all you will need is... anyone who can work a spanner. 🤔
Ill tell you from experience you dont want to be taking on loads of different businesses. At 27 i had 3 companies employed 40 ppl over 3 companies and in the end was so poorly i had to shut all 3. Mad thing considering they all made profit

Do you have an accountant? Buy another recovery vehicle, horses, send a car for scrap, £10 on cake, check £20. Make £600 on a car? Not going to retire early
I have 2 accountants actually. What would I want to retire for, I don't like golf or gardening. The horses aren't mine, but the agricultural land I've developed into an equestrian centre and B8 storage site is though. £600 profit on a car isn't normal, retail stuff would normally be at least double that but you're right, treating my staff to £20 worth of cake is going to derail my finances lol
