High voice: Austin Brown; Low low voice Tim Foust; beatbox and drums solo voice: Adam Rupp; other two are Rob Lundquist and Adam Chance. Cover of Johnny Cash song. They did an excellent job. It has a bluesy sound or something instead of the folk country twang it’s known for.
These guys do everything incredibly well. They cover all genres and love to put their own little twists on different songs. This song was originally done by Johnny Cash in a very traditional country style. If you haven’t reacted to any of his stuff you should seriously consider it, he was an all time great.
Folsom Prison Blues is a Johnny Cash cover. Adam Chance (aka: Chance) began the song. Tim Foust is still the bass singer, but during the Covid shutdown, he cut his hair and stopped coloring his gray streak. He admitted in an interview that he had been coloring his hair to cover the gray.

God you’re young or maybe I’m just old. Folsom Prison is classic from The Man in Black, Johnny Cash. You need to hear another Johnny Cash classic, Ring of Fire that Home Free did featuring the one and only Avi Kaplan formerly of Pentatonix.
@@ABtheKreator He passed in 2003. His songs are more country-ish, but he is/was a legend so groups like Home Free are likely to do his covers, as they have here and with Ring of Fire. For a private laugh, listen to A Boy named Sue. Not necessarily for a video for you, but it is a hoot,
Ain't no actual 'lead' singer in any of these three groups; even the beatboxer sings sometimes. That's the great part about it, they trade off. (Except Adam in Home Free; no-one seems to be able to convince him that his voice is lovely.)

A band that you need to check out is Jinjer. Tatiana Shmaylyuk is the singer and her range is incredible. Check out "Pieces" the live session first. Then "Perennial" live and the "teacher teacher"
y'all need t check out Austin Browns channel... You won't stay in your chair there either... lol love your reactions to them..
God you’re young or maybe I’m just old. Folsom Prison is classic from The Man in Black, Johnny Cash. You need to hear another Johnny Cash classic, Ring of Fire that Home Free did featuring the one and only Avi Kaplan formerly of Pentatonix.
Yeah I don’t know any Johnny Cash sorry lol…but it’s on the list
@@ABtheKreator He passed in 2003. His songs are more country-ish, but he is/was a legend so groups like Home Free are likely to do his covers, as they have here and with Ring of Fire. For a private laugh, listen to A Boy named Sue. Not necessarily for a video for you, but it is a hoot,
Just to clarify, A Boy Named Sue is Johnny Cash, HF hasn't done it (yet).
There are 2 Adams ,1 Tim, 1 Rob, and 1 Austin. 🤗
many a homfry, these guys just like having fun...whats wrong with livin life to its fullest and making people happy:)
Ain't no actual 'lead' singer in any of these three groups; even the beatboxer sings sometimes. That's the great part about it, they trade off. (Except Adam in Home Free; no-one seems to be able to convince him that his voice is lovely.)
Oh ok ok yeah that makes sense actually Elizabeth 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙌🏾
Remake of Johnny Cash song. Members are: Tim the bass, Austin the high tenor, Rob the tenor (glasses), Chance singing lead on this, Adam the best boxer. Height charts were not accurate.
Thank you 🙏🏾
You should definitely check out Tyler Childers. His voice is so different and distinct. Pure mountain music.
I lovvvvvve Tyler Childers
He should do Whitehouse Road
AB: "sweat cheese and crackers" 🤣 I truly love you and your reactions
If you really want to see Tim Faust’s range, check out Austen Brown and Tim Faust singing My Maria, in the back yard.
Can you react to Broken Wing by Martina McBride and Gunpowder & Lead by Miranda Lambert?
Another great reaction.....
Thank you 🙏🏾
Come on and fall down the Home Free rabitt hole...lol! You need to see their cover of "Mayday" by Cam!
Haha I am definitely falling!!! Lol
React to them singing Die a Happy man! Sweet cheese my soul left my body I swear!
You might have to stop calling yourself "Non Country Fan". "Folsom Prison Blues" is about as Country as you can get! I mean, it has prison, trains, and Mama. AND it's a Johnny Cash song. Yep -- that's a true Country song!
Congratulations on the upgrade from Tater Tot to Home Fry.
Haha facts!!! And thank you
Thanks!!
Thank you
As long as you keep saying there are three Adam’s, you’re not in.
Lmao 🤣 clearly hahahahaa
2 Adams. Beatboxer Adam Rupp (original member) and baritone Adam Chance, called Chance, who replaced A. Rupp's brother)
His bandmates say that Austin is one of the best there is at "wailing". LOL.
You definitely will have to check out the original Johny Cash version of this song. I enjoyed Home Free’s version but Mr. Cash’s is my favorite.
Yeah I’ve never heard of homie so I gotta give him a shot
@@ABtheKreator If you need three songs for him to be in then add “Ring of fire”, Man in Black” and “Hurt” to the list. I especially thin you will like Man in black.
@@lanaeinkheart7597 oh ok 👍🏾 thank you
This song was originally done by the great Johnny Cash .. he’s the man in black ..
This is Johnny Cash's song. He recorded it in Folsom prison. On stage he sang the line in the song, I shot a man in Reno just to watch him die. You can here the prisoners react to it
The man with the short beard was in 'man of constant sorrow'
Yes, you’re definitely a Home Fry now! And yes the numbers behind the guys are not accurate. Most of them are quite tall. I noticed you had a Bob’s Burgers shirt on. VoicePlay recently put out Bob’s Burgers theme song if you want to check that out.
OMG 😱 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
check out Tims range on his song will you still love me tomorrow from his solo music. also home free and kenny rogers, children go where I send thee won't disappoint
It is a cover from Johnny Cash a country star LEGEND !!!!!! Listen to Home Free ‘s version of How Great Thou Art
