Fascinating talk and resonates so much, being one of those youngish counter-cultural Catholics with young kids and learning so much more about my faith from UA-cam (you're right that the Catholic church in Britain could do more, some great content coming out from America though). One point I'd make about young families in the pews is that a lot of us are catholic mums bringing up their kids in the faith alone (non believing dads) - they could also do with more recognition and support in these secular times. Great talk!
ST. POPE JOHN PAUL II: “It is important to be ever mindful that communion with Christ is deeply tied to communion with our brothers and sisters. The Sunday Eucharistic gathering is an experience of brotherhood. The sign of peace is a particularly expressive gesture which the faithful are invited to make as a manifestation of the commitment to mutual love which is made in sharing the one bread.”
@@CatholicTruthSociety POPE BENEDICT XVI: “In sacramental communion I become one with the Lord, like all the other communicants. As Saint Paul says, “Because there is one bread, we who are many are one body, for we all partake of the one bread” (1 Cor 10:17). Union with Christ is also union with all those to whom he gives himself. We become “one body”, completely joined in a single existence. Love of God and love of neighbor are now truly united: God incarnate draws us all to himself.”
One of the more pernicious lingering effects of the Covid period is the diminishment of the sign of the Sign of Peace; in my (otherwise excellent) parish mass, congregants are still waving vacantly at each other from a distance, which does little to build up the Body of Christ.
The Eucharist is one straight way to become a Saint. This is the greatest gift that Jesus reserved for His disciples. Priest or sheep, everyone in His Mystical Body, if they believe and receive The Body of Christ in the state of Grace, then they will enter directly into Heaven when they’re finally finished this earthly journey.
"to be properly Catholic" at 21:58 is incorrect as it is 'to do Catholic as a procreation gift doing role. Consecrated marriage identity being-role doing, celibate vowed to man in Christ or male female vowed to God, or associating together with consecrated marriage is the yeast for raising the yeast less bread in Eucharist gift role to be and do real presence in keeping in uncertainty of belief the inseparability and qualitative equality of to be and to do. Bishop Barron is not associating together with consecrated marriage in his oscillation.
Mass is the most precious part of my life. I go because and for the Holy Eucharist… and it’s a holy day of obligation. I got to take Holy Communion on my birthday it was awesome!
Instead of asking “Do they still believe", one should ask “Is the Eucharist is the Real Present of God, The Body and Blood of Christ “. Because The Eucharist is always The Real Present of The Lord, and whether people believe or not, it is still the truth: The Real Present of The Lord.
The video isn't about whether or not the Eucharist is truly the Body of Christ (that's definitely true and not up for debate, as you rightly say). Instead, one of the things discussed is whether many Catholics today deny this truth.
The Roman Catholic Eucharist is the body of Jesus Christ Period! It is not a representation of the body of Jesus Christ it is the body of Jesus Christ! No essay has nothing to do with the Eucharist being or not being the body of Christ! The Bible is the only essay that proves that the Eucharist is the body Christ! Why? Because Jesus Christ said it!
If someone say: Catholic Mass is boring, because they don’t see how great to become a Saint 😁 because want to be a Saint is need to denial what the world loves and picks up their cross and follow Jesus

We absolutely agree!
Jesus is truly present in the Blessed Sacrament. It's His body, blood, soul and divinity. It's our most precious treasure 💗
Many thanks for this. Lots to ponder on!
