As a doctor, I find this analysis to be highly accurate and reflective of the challenges we face in the medical field. I often discuss similar concerns with my interns and students, especially those who have just entered medical college. One major issue we are currently facing is the government's decision to increase medical seats without ensuring that new medical colleges are equipped with basic facilities. This shortfall is not only affecting the quality of MBBS education but also undermining the competence of future doctors. We already have a strong healthcare outreach through PHCs, CHCs, and district hospitals in rural areas. Instead of expanding seats without proper infrastructure, the government should prioritize upgrading the existing facilities and enhancing the quality of training. Furthermore, creating more job opportunities for doctors is critical. Regularly advertising job openings on a fixed timeline each year would ensure better workforce management and career stability for medical professionals.
Doctors are going to face even worse days in the near future in India. At least for engineers there are still a lot of jobs u can get but for doctors it's going to be a nightmare.
Thoughtful insights. Many students are going abroad to study Medical but are unable to qualify the exam to practice in India. If you have seen the videos of Mr. Peri Maheshwar of career 360 it will be very clear that quality of doctors are poorer as only rich can afford the medical education. Bottomline is there is no plan developed by the government. 2038 is very near and we are yet reap the demographic dividend. Last but not the least , today specialised doctors are available in cities only i.e. in pockets through out India. Medical facilities are not available even in the nearby districts. Even IT sectors developed in pockets of India. If the development of opportunities are not uniformly distributed pan India the opening of plethora of engineering and medical colleges will lead to a glut of unemployability
The number of doctors are increasing per year, but not all the students who are graduating continue the profession. Many of them switch to other professions also. The vacancies for the post of doctors in government jobs is really very less. And the competition is tough. Although doctor can practice privately also. And yes the competition is really high and the mental pressure a medical student faces since admission in colleges is also very high.
What good would be studying medicine if it entails spending 5-7 years of time & over Rs.50 lacs and then making a measly 20-30k a month? A doctor would never be able to recover the overall cost of educating & skilling and would simply render pursuing the career stream monetarily pointless. And mind you, we're not even taking the impact of AI into account at this stage.
Like engineering, Medical is also facing same problem, people will migrate to other better paying fields. For example dental graduates are not doing dentistry now.
It's actually the most accurate analysis... Just add FMGE students too... And someone please stop building further medical colleges...already more than enough 😡
Bestest of the best analysis i v seen so far. People think that no of patients will be equally divided in no of doctors, which is not like that. Patient wd go best of the lots. Rest hv to struggle..And myself is a doctor by profession and associate professor medical college west bengal.
Government should work on policies on how to counter corporatisation of all essential services/goods. Common people in india cant afford education, housing, health care, insurance etc...
Your Analysis is Accurate. But there is a catch , Only urban areas are having many doctors , but in rural (tier 3) areas Quacks are still doing wrong things as doctors are less in number in those areas , For example , there is a district Pratapgarh in rajasthan , there is only 1 pediatrician in whole district , if he goes to his home which is in jodhpur for some 3-4 days , there is no pediatrician in whole district , not just in city . Young doctors are preferring to practice in urban areas , no one wants to go in rural areas .
Koi baat nahi both Russia 🇷🇺 and Ukraine 🇺🇦 needs our man power. Israel 🇮🇱 ab Greater Israel 🇮🇱 👏 🙌 banega tab khub daba ke Indians ko job milega. GCC countries still needs our medical staffs. Whole Africa is still our untapped markets. Many EU countries still need our doctors. Global Medical Tourism ka hub India 🇮🇳 banega. Asal challenges hai AI enabled robotic arms doing surgeries.

Chalo ab is sal neet me nahi hua to papa ko ye vala video dikha dunga
😂😂

🤣🤣
Bhai tension naa soja tu
Me bhi 😂
The problem with engineering is about employability. Doctor have skills, it's very practical knowledge.
But we have quota system causing employability concern here too.. and risk with human treatment is higher than in engineering..
ppls used to say same about btech back in 2011
Doctors are going to face even worse days in the near future in India. At least for engineers there are still a lot of jobs u can get but for doctors it's going to be a nightmare.
Engineer ko koi company toh le leta tha....doc ko kaun lega
Healthy raho doctor & medicine se bacho ye hi sabse accha tarika.

how do you know ?
Barely know anyone who switches to other profession
The irrelevant increase in mbbs seats without checking the quality of medical colleges is hampering the quality of doctors we will have in future.
Doctors' income might decrease but they will never be unemployed, no matter how many more doctors come.
Can you find me job with 50k salary
You can never say never..
After studying for so long if they get a low paying salary.. then it's a different kind of problem..
Bro you should focus on economics as well
Earning will get low. Demand supply ka khel hai

Exactly the point..
Mei khud dentistry padh raha
The number of doctors needed for India's population will still not be met. The analysis is extremely flawed.
It's actually the most accurate analysis... Just add FMGE students too... And someone please stop building further medical colleges...already more than enough 😡
so true
😢😢😢😢 all new medical colleges are without proper infrastructure😢😢😢😢😢😢
@@prashunsingh-q1c exactly… govt. should focus on quality>>>>>>quantity
Bro data bilkul theek hai or upar se india mein to farzi doctor hakeem etne hain mbbs mein future risk mein hai

Accurate analysis

Its my future profession 🤔🤔.
Engineer, 10,00000 berojgar, Dr. 10000000, berojgar, very very risky mbbs ki, engineering hi sahi hai😂😂😂😂
U have very beautifully described our problems ❤
1st Drop lene wala hu😢
Very nice case study! 👍🏼
Love from west bengal ❤
Kotha theke ?
Government should work on policies on how to counter corporatisation of all essential services/goods. Common people in india cant afford education, housing, health care, insurance etc...
Yes mbbs seats show increase thrice also government should force doctor to prescribe generic medicines
Bhai faida nahi dekho generic medicine par quality issues he simple road side dress aur brand dress same chiz he
Career to politics me h 😅
Sbse acha buisness baba giri shuru krdo
Highest package hain dosto 😂😂
Ha toh baba giri logo ne sunna v chahiye na
5 lac doctors per year. Hona chahiye

Your analysis is flawed , 100000 mbbs student per year is being compared with 1 Million engineers per year .

What about bds
Mechanical and civil engineering is relevant forever... Infact these engineering branches will not be affected much by AI revolution. IT will...
IT me skills important hai bahut
We should dich the morden education and degrees..!
Sir village k 80% CHC & PHC pe doctor available nhi hai, aate hi nhi hai jaldi
Fecility bi nhi hai , unka salary bi nahi hothi
Thoda government hospital main jake dekho. Bohot doctors ke jarurat hain.
Doctor's safety is real issue .
Climate catastrophe entered the chat

Wrong analysis.
There is still demand for specilists and superspecialists
Maine BA political science honour liya kya mughe job milegi 😢
Bilkul nhi
Aise video har fild ke banavo, taki samj aye ki karna kya hai
, भाई अच्छे डॉक्टर की आज भी कमी है
बहुत कमी है डाक्टर की😢
Quantity going up, quality coming down.
I disagree with your analysis ,only one aspect was put forward, and the dynamics of a profession need about six hours to explain.
