Great Vlog. As I live only 30km away I am on my second year visiting with annual card and I think summer is the least interesting time to visit (for anyone thinking of visiting). Halloween and Christmas have such gorgeous theming and you get to experience the park and rides in the dark. At the end of Nov the water rides shut, but in Oct in the evening when the queues are non existant you can just stay on Atlantica Supersplash as many times as you like. I hate Euro Sat/Mir so was really happy they decided to run SilverStar (if above 5c) this winter to make up for EuroSat being closed. We rode it yesterday at least 12 times which is great fun. I was really disappointed with Voletarium, have only bothered going on it once in 6 months.

I love Europa Park. The complexion of rides, attractions and areas is just fantastic. Volitarium looks interesting though. Hopefully Eurosat2 will be even better than the original but still retain it's charm.

Great vlog again Shawn. I love this park so much and I have never been. It's definitely on the to do list. Just wish it was easier to get to, It's a real shame it's not that close to a major airport. A 2hr train journey after a flight always puts me off booking. I think I'll go on their next major investment year.
I've seen a "making of" of Voletarium on TV, it was quite interesting... those flying theaters are all done by a company from Taiwan, they send their own technicians anywhere in the world where such an attraction is built, and they install the electronics, program the movements as the customer wants them, and so forth. Just for the single "jump" over Neuschwanstein Castle, it took a whole day to get the movement exactly right. Voletarium has three 4K beamers, precisely calibrated with a slightly overlapping projection so there aren't any visible gaps etc. The sweet spot of the projection is in the middle row, middle seat. The most outward seats on the top or bottom row have the worst angle in theory.
Just wanted to mention the passing of Disney Legend and Imagineer Marty Sklar at age 83. He passed away Thursday in California. He attended the opening day of every Disney park from Disneyland in 1955 to Shanghai in 2016.
Last time I've been there was in April 2016 and I really miss this place. The Soundtracks and kind of retro atmosphere of EuroSat and EuroMir, the queue theming of wodan (one of my favorite queues) and also Arthur, which really suprised me. Hope I'll be able to get there again next year! Your vlog just made me kind of jealous haha, keep up the good work!

Eurosat will get a complete retrack and an extra station, also VR will be added. With the VR in mind, I really think the retrack will make the coaster very smooth, otherwise the VR experience will kill you xd
You should visit Lagoon Amusement Park in Farmington, Utah in the US. It has a coaster that is 200 feet tall, a 116 degree beyond vertical drop, and the drop is the steepest in the US, and the tallest Beyond vertical drop in the world
i went to pleasurewood hills on 4th july and i saw ur vid on it a couple of days ago from two years ago and i went on wipeout 14 times but then i wasnt allowed on it anymore that day lol
A Peter Pan Ride using Arthur's ride system would be great! Flying over London and then over Neverland! The Peter Pan rides at Disney are a bit old now, needs a new ride system!

The video of voletarium has changed while I was there last week. They've added a tent with a fire and some horses in the first mountain scene. And they have added the horses in the spanish castle scene at the end. In the beginning you could hear the horses, but you couldn't see them.
Interesting, Everyone tells me it's as good as Soarin' Epcot And DCA and you're the only person I know that's done them all, Shanghai, Tokyo Disney Sea. I'm guessing you would rate those better as well however I seem to remember a few non Disney Flying Theatre attractions on your Asia trip and other trips as well. Would you at least say this is the best non Disney Flying Theatre?
Fact: The Efteling and Europapark work together for a long time now, and it was actually the idea to have a second voletarium and the Efteling that continued the story of this one That sadly never happened, but it does explain why some rooms look like Efteling structures But Europapark and the Efteling are really similar anyway, both biggest of their cointry, both family parks, both brilliant theming

Looks like Free Practice. The weekend ended with a 1-2 (Hamilton in front of Bottas) for Mercedes, so it was certainly a good time for you to ride Silver Star! :D

So which order. First smaller rides and then coasters, or first coasters and then later flat and water rides? Thank you very much!

I have to say, I much prefer Europa at christmas. It just takes on a whole different atmosphere and is beautiful.

Again I recommend Hansa Park. It's a fantastic theme park in north of Germany and easy to reach from Hamburg.

The last woodie built in the UK was infact the scenic railway,brand new ride practicly!

The best thing to do is arrive early and stay late, along with starting at the back of the park to avoid the crowds
