I love to see the reaction from people, who visit my home- and favoritepark. It's just amazing and i could visit it every day! Keep on your work, your Vlogs are one of the best out there! Greetings from Germany!
This is what I love about theme parks: BEING FULLY IMMERSED IN YOUR SURROUNDINGS! This park looks amazing, and I'm sure an individual could forget the outside world. Just seeing Taron and all the other attractions in person must be breathtaking!
We went to Phantasialand in June & my Parents surprised me and my friends with staying in Hotel Matamber, and we got one hour access to klughium so I got 26 Rides on it!
Ghost rickshaw is one of the best Dark Rides that I have ever been on and came out in the great 80's same as Temple of the Night Hawk former[Space Centre] , First came here when I was 4 in summer of 1985 and been coming here nearly every year since great memories of the park and also making new ones I'm from the UK :-)
OMGOSH!! This looks Amazing! I luv loops and inversions, but air time and banking are my thing. What seems to really drive this home is the theme. Outstanding! Martin was so excited! He definitely had a Great ride! Thank You for sharing this. It's a must do.
1 of the best pov from talicon on this video. I really love the wall side cause you get the feeling you're going to hit the wall. Overall I visit phantasialand every year and it's defently 1 of the better park's in Europe and it's real pleasure to see you guys enjoy it.
Yaaaaayyyy!!! What a fantastic park with an even more fantastic video!!! I've been keeping up to date on Instagram and i've seen you've had a great time!!! Cya in the next video! 100k, here we come!!!
30:27 I don’t think it’s a bonus spin because you get that always on the ride but there is something wrong with the music because it’s not lined up with the ride
11:28 The vertical garden wall is only a temporary measure. The park own the land behind it for a future project. So at some point the wall and the cattlepen extension queueline will be replaced presumably by the entrance to a new attraction.
Will Sharp It is only the narrow strip of land (same width as the wall itself) that the park own so it would be difficult to fit a whole land in. But then again Phantasialand are the masters of utilising limited space so maybe they'll surprise us!
They would have to extend the tunnel for the road but behind that there is a big plot of land indeed. Phantasialand could do a lot with that, the only thing stopping them is the neighbours who tend to be pretty annoying when it comes to noise pollution. I think they will probably not built a coaster there but maybe a flat or dark ride. If they build a coaster my money is on a GCI family woodie
I wish I lived in Europe! I’d go from Sweden to France for breakfast, grab lunch at Phantasialand and ride some rides, and then stay overnight in England cuz why not!
39:49 that's the Ghost Train! So it wasn't at Port Aventura after all it was Phantasialand! OMG! I haven't been on that thing for about 30 years & it's hardly changed in all that time! See when I was little my family used to go on holiday with the families of my Dad's hockey teammates every two to three years. We'd meet in West London, drive down to Dover, take the ferry to Calais & drive all the way to Barcelona. Spend two or three weeks there & stop off in Germany to visit Phantasialand on the drive back. Sometimes we'd also visit Port Aventura while we were in Barcelona but because it was so long ago & I was only about ten the last time we went I must have gotten the theme parks confused & pretty much mashed them all up into one! Thank you so much for posting this & clearing up the discrepancies in my age addled stoner brain. Now I'm definitely going to have to take my wife to Phantasialand at some point & relive that part of my childhood thirty odd years later. lol
It´s so nice to see that you like Phantasialand and Taron so much. The park is just half an hour drive away from our hometown. Do you ever ride Taron at night or evening? It is amazing. The lights, the sound and the whole atmosphere at night is beautiful. In autumm you can ride Taron and Raik after park closing on an extra ride time only for hotel guests and annual pass holders. ;-) Best wishes from the FunTime Arena
Absolutly love the vlog! I watched them all back in September the week before I would go and ride Taron. And I got a night ride front row 🤩. And it shredded my expectations. Absolutly best coaster ever 😍😍.
Within a couple of years when my kids are older. These days I only visit small children amusement parks. It's a good excuse to hunt for kiddie-credits :D.
I love Martins recation on Taron! But I still cannot understand how he don't like the park even if he think its to small. The Theming and attractions are great. But in the end great Vlog as always. ^^
Used to go there in 99/00 good times. Can't believe they still have the same rides especially Hollywood Tour! And the Colorado Adventure - The Michael Jackson Thrill Ride.
fbgefdg ergerg The quality is exactly on par with Disney. The point of theming and theme parks in general is to immerse you. Phantasialand do that perfectly. PHL's theming is certainly superior to Efteling. Baron 1898's queueline and layout after the tunnel and the Flying Dutchman's outside section lack theming and give the impression of half themed rides.
They are God’s of theming but... PortAventura, Thorpe Park & Alton Towers, I am actually struggling now to think of any thing else they are incredible parks

Closed a couple of weeks is a bit of an exaggeration. Chiapas closed on Saturday 2 Sept due to one of liftchains on the second lifthill breaking. It reopened the day after you visited (Friday 8th). Apparently there was a delay with the delivery of a new chain.
Theme Park Worldwide Had you done Bobbejaanland first and then Phantasialand you would got on it! Ah well hopefully you'll make it there for Wintertraum.

mario64remix Not really the Hollywood Tour and Temple of the Night Hawk rumour has been rather consistent. And considering how every year the park do maintain things - keeping things working and replacing small things here and there - shows they do care however logically things that require a lot of work eg. the whole Jaws figures just aren't worth spending money on since its going soon.

T.F Studio Well it's my home park and I've been tons of times since Taron opened and never had any major problems. I've only seen it has technical issues twice and each time it was up and running again in 15 mins. It is overall a reliable ride.
extra lil tidbit of info. If you are staying at one of the onsite hotels, they reopen klugheim for 1 hour after park closing for all hotel guests Just taron and raik but basically no queue so you can just go round and round and round......
I've never been to Phantasialand before but I know one thing for sure. Don't eat lunch and then ride the back side of Talocan. It spins so much more than any other top spin I've seen.

Hey Shawn, I’m going to Phantasialand in July, I noticed your on-ride footage and I was wondering, can you gust take a GoPro on if you have a hand/wrist strap or do you have to contact the park first?
"That's my number 1 coaster"
Shawn: " did you enjoy it? "
😂😂😂
Lol
But deep down, did he really? No, he surpassed mere enjoyment, he ADORED it.
7:15 - Martin's excitement is the best thing, haha! Beautiful looking ride. I actually love all that twisted metal in such a small space.

I love the soundtrack of Taron/Klugheim so much. It's amazing...walking through Klugheim and listen to it 😍
Got to finally experience this beautiful park today. Definitely now one of my favourite theme parks in the world. Taron is truly an amazing coaster.

11:28 The vertical garden wall is only a temporary measure. The park own the land behind it for a future project. So at some point the wall and the cattlepen extension queueline will be replaced presumably by the entrance to a new attraction.
Or a new land, looking from google maps, and seeing how much is most likely theirs, I think they will most likely build a land there!

When you next visit Phantasialand, try to eat at Rutmor's Tavern. Not much more expensive than bratwurst and chips at Kaisersnack, but sooo good!

24:21 Is it a miracle? The Glinda animatronic has been replaced! Does this mean that... Phantasialand still cares about Hollywood Tour?
The park have always cared but considering it's heavily rumoured to be removed this January it wouldn't be worthwhile carrying major work on it.
Who really takes these rumors seriously though? There are so many of them, and they all contradict each other. And no, Phantasialand generally doesn't give a damn about HT. I mean, have you seen Jaws or King Kong's fingers?
