- Cold-Start and pure exhaust SOUND footage of the 2018 Audi RS5 powered by the new 2.9 liter Bi-Turbo V6 delivering 450 hp and a whopping 600 Nm of torque. Honestly, I was not expecting this car to be that fast. Considering the fact it has a higher weight than for example the marvelous TT RS or RS3 with 5-Zylinder and 400 hp it still pulls on pair with those two. Especially the rolling start performance is (subjectively) is a lot better than with the 5-Zylinder and S-Tronic, cause this car has the ZF 8-speed which really helps for immediate pull-through. It may sound good to you but you probably don't know how good the sound of the older rs5 didn't you.?? 2013 to 2016 rs5 make this new rs5 sound like shit.. Especially when 2013 to 2016 rs5 has a armytrix exhaust my God it sounds like car porn...

@@ernanv24 also because of European CO2 restrictions, sport cars became more quiet, the older ones were lucky to be more sporty, without all those rev limiters and shit

If you don't know how to handle a car, any car can understeer or oversteer in the correct conditions.
Yes, it is a very quiet RS5 when standing next to the old gen. one. But come on: it is quite a nice sound when up shifting

Everyone is saying the old V8 sounds better but no one is talking about the performances. Making 450 horses(PS) from a V6. The same the number the V8 was making. And it's quicker than the V8 (not tuned). With new regulations in place. It's loud enough. Trust me. In person it's beautiful

Yeah I'll give you that one. It does sound good for a 6. The older BMW 1M with the Akra also sounded killer as a 6. But something has happened as of late. Even the BMW 6 has lost it's growliness.

Was viele nicht wissen: ein V6 sind theoretisch zwei aneinander montierte reihendreizylinder. Deshalb klingt ein vergleichbarer reihensechszylinder viel besser.
