- A film about the building of the Corinth Canal in Greece in the early 1950s. The Corinth Canal is a canal that connects the Gulf of Corinth with the Saronic Gulf in the Aegean Sea. It cuts through the narrow Isthmus of Corinth and separates the Peloponnese from the Greek mainland, arguably making the peninsula an island.
Something doesn't seem right with this. The technology to build this canal existed BEFORE we even had decent cameras to record the event ? This entire video is nonsense and doesn't show one actual piece of footage of the canal's construction.
The video is from 1951. It’s not claiming to be from the 1800’s.
I came here to see if the biological impact of the canal..
