    We have a very experienced panel that lead the discussions:
    Anne-Marie Fadare @AmerieOT
    Sherlyn Graham @sherlynmelody
    Kalimah Ibrahiim @KalimahOT
    Oliver Miller @iamoliboi
    Yvonne Olasunkanmi @Yvone92411661
    Katy Simpson @katysimpsonOT
    Host: Mish Ahmed-Landeryou (@LecturerMish)
    The Royal College of Occupational Therapists document 'Relieving the Pressure on Social Care the Value of Occupational Therapy' file:///C:/Users/Mish/AppData/Loca/Temp/ILSM%20Social%20Care%20report%20(Web)-1.pdf
    This document states that the college’s data indicates that despite making up just 4% of the regulated workforce, occupational therapists address 35 - 45% of local authority referrals. This demonstrates that funding occupational therapy services delivers a significant return on investment.
    Furthermore this document it identifies that in social care the occupational therapists act at 3 levels:
    At a UNIVERSAL level: person centredness and informed choices;
    At a TARGETED level: removing barriers and how this is delivered is contextualised to the person;
    At a SPECIALIST level: working with particular populations & or focus on housing that is putting an occupational lens on social justice.
