Incredible Reverend Professor June made Hildegard come to life for us. Truly remarkable! I’d long heard of Hildegard but aged 64 only started listening to her music through Apple Music and was instantly fascinated totally by her music, then started reading about her. Hildegard will be with me for the rest of my earthly life and I think beyond.

Thanks to my neighbour who left a note in my letter box to tell me he had enough of me listenening to the same music each day lately ( St Hildegard's), I searched for a talk so that I stayed with St Hildegard and it has been a pleasure to find this video about her.

What a gem of a program! I was searching for information on Hildegard of Bingen and got more than I could have hoped for. Thank you for sharing Prof Boyce-Tillman's engaging, informative and thoroughly entertaining presentation. I've actually never heard the Trinity explained in this way- it was illuminating! - Karen, St Louis, Missouri, USA

That teacher lady is really smart. I like her. I love what she said about relationships and diversity with unity, and how trinity is an attempt to understand God. I love how she cautioned us with being dangerous and destroying others with our pride and desire to rule over others. Keeping integrity to me means staying true to the character of God, which is love- and that's the Son of Man Jesus.

I find it So hard to beleive that the world knows her as a christian Mystic instead of a Christian woman who devoted herself to God, His work and allowed the Holy Spirit to work in and through her. If that is what Christian Mystics are then this is what I am.

God told St Hildegard regarding the people receiving Holy Eucharist:
"These are clear in faith about the sacrament and do not doubt that it is the true body and the true blood of My Son. And so, perceiving this by faith, they are strengthened and made holy in body, and because they are sanctified by this mystery they will appear in this same body in Heaven after the resurrection of the dead; and their souls are transfigured and enkindled by the fiery gift of the Holy Spirit, so that, flooded with enlightenment, they reject earthly things and long for heavenly ones. How? As a fire is stirred to blaze by the wind, they are inspired by this sacrament to burn with celestial love." (Scivias, II, 6, 52)
She may have had arguments with certain church men but the truth of her faith never moved.

The world is Divine Mother. Hildegard knew. The Trinity is Creator Sustainer and Destroyer. She has two parts: Matter and Consciousness. Matter is Mother. Consciousness is Father. They are represented by the Earth and the Sun. He is Her dying and resurrecting Son. She is everything. They are One. Together they are Great Mother ... Brahman. This is true.

And here is another true scholar - meaning, one who seeks knowledge, understanding, truth, and wisdom, with a fully engaged capacity for critical thinking, questioning of all dogmas, reigning ideologies, group-think and presuppositions, and a willingness to investigate, think, and speak, with freedom, independence and openness of both heart and mind, which cannot be separated, nor either one rejected or suppressed, lest both be blinded and eclipsed. Naturally, she rejects the four hundred year old delusion, which is now dying and fading to dust, of Newtonian-Cartesian, mechanistic thinking, and the atomistic, dualistic, materialist reductionist paradigm, or world view, which it represents, and which has always been, not only grossly inadequate, inaccurate, and positively delusional, but also, catastrophic, in social, ecological, spiritual, intellectual, cultural, economic and political terms. She speaks with eloquence, erudition, and passion - and power - of the life and legacy of Hildegard of Bingen, who is truly, a philosopher, and saint, and guiding, inspiring, galvanizing figure for our time, in this very deeply and ominously troubled 21st century, plutocratic-ruled, media-saturated, fractured, fragmented, cataclysmically self-destructive, hubris and apathy and cynicism filled, techno-entranced, deeply alienated and divided world, poised on the brink of either collective self-annihilation, through the slow and agonizing death by strangulation from a dystopian empire of psychopathic neo-feudal power elites - or a collective rebirth and liberation, in a new Renaissance.
    Hear her words well.

If Hildegard actually represented the Catholic Church I would have no problem with the Catholic Church, but she doesn't. She is something quite different. I don't mean that she is really a Vendantic mystic or a Buddhist or something like that. She isn't. She is a true Christian. But Hildegard did not need the Pope and his power-hierarchy to have access to the Holy Spirit and its fruits. Don't tell me that without the Catholic Church there would be no Hildegard. That is the great lie. It is only through people like Hildegard that the Catholic Church has any connection with God, not the other way around.
