    In the 70s my mom would buy those deluxe nut mixes in the can, and I would pick throughout the nuts and eat all the Brazil nuts that day and there had to be 8-10 per can.

I do give some out as Christmas gifts or birthday gifts then they HAVE to ask me "Why did you give me a vacuum sealed bag of Brazil Nuts?" Then I get to tell them all the benefits of them! That study about the obese teens taking them is crazy! The list is so long why they are so good for you! Excited to try the bread recipe you have & make my own Brazil nut flour! Brazil nut milk & nut butter are also on my list to make! Blessings to your family! 💖

Also with nodules on my left thyroid. I started taking Brazil nuts just one a day because I do eggs daily. In one and a half month I saw a drastic change. Been eating 4 or 5 brazil nuts and hazelnuts every day. ALSO, so exciting -- planting my own hazelnut trees outside this year. You can order the bare root and plant it at home first - which is what I did a year ago - now ready to go out into the fruit and nut garden I am starting. I am excited and also, this weekend, hope to start my black currant seeds. They are easier to grow and process and much more nutritious than grapes. Proof: the govt outlawed growing them in 1911 (war has been going on for a long time) Then they outlawed even picking them in the wild. The seeds are expensive as the come back has started. I have had black currant jelly from the Mennonite store and it is good.

    • @CeeceeWhip
      @CeeceeWhip Рік тому +2

      Every time I hear the government making laws against food, then I know to eat more of it. HA! Remember when they told you not to eat eggs or fats? They want to shorten our lives not enhance them. Black currant must have some extremely good nutrients. I don’t think I have ever had black currant anything. I’m blaming it on the government because I’ve never seen it. So please spread the fruit around. ❤😊

So important to eat in a mindful manner these days. I am putting together a note book for my current daily eating routine, including any vitamins and meds. This will include favorite meals. Since this is spring, it will be a seasonal list of favorite dishes. I will color code. Spring will will have a 🌱 green cover, Autumn will be 🍁orange, etc; to be filed on a book shelf. The only time I soak nuts is when I am going to use them to make a nut milk and then use the pulp to make a flour or a "cheese" with

    I have been eating Brazil nuts for awhile now, along with Nori in my baked beans for the iodine..My hyperthyroidism is getting much better results on my blood work ups. I am hoping that I will be off the Levoxyl within the year. A long time on it and I so want to be off of it. But, not sure my Dr will want that. They seem to want to keep you on a med even if your eating habits have improved your problem. I need to take charge, not let them control me.

    Dr Gregor says one Brazil nut per day is too much ... as a vegan not eating eggs etc then him saying one Brazil nut per day is too much must be listened to surely ??? He talks 4 per month being safe so is Dr Gregor now a rubbish doctor ???

      Only one now? Pretty soon there are going to be doctors saying do not eat any. Just another healthy food getting tossed down the memory hole. As noted in the video and in the .gov publication I linked to in the description box. people were give 5 and 10 times that much with positive results.
      I have no idea who that doctor is so I cannot say he is all wrong but he is most certainly wrong on Brazil nuts. I did a video on the vilification of food and herbs: ua-cam.com/video/W9-7g49s2EY/v-deo.html
