- Sometimes I try to fish for walleyes but the wipers can make it difficult when they are busting baits nearby.

Hello my friend you did catch them all. I’m late watching my wife had me doing stuff. I enjoyed the video. Have fun stay safe and catch the rest of them.
Hey Steve, hope your wife isn't working ya too hard 😁 thanks for stopping by.
I've been living in Minnesota going on 20yrs this August. Never ever caught a wiper yet. It's in my bucket list for a long time. Been to red rock or pella caught just about everything in there besides, a Wiper. Not giving up will go back to Iowa to try again soon maybe the weekend of my birthday fourth of July. July 🎉 fireworks 🎆. Nice workout for the arm 💪 though. Tight lines brother and keep leveling up. Saa tu SOK DEE! Brother! 🎣🤙🙂
Red Rock is good and saylorville, The top water bite in the lake should be heating up!
Wassup Kit! Another great video!
Just keeping lines tight bro, thanks for watching!
Point me that way. To thee hot spot. Nice action. Where is this I'd like to go try the spot someday or soon. I wouldn't complain nor get tired of the action you got into. 🤙👍
You guys have them dialed in at this lake. You don't even have to follow the schools around - they follow you.
It be like that sometimes and sometimes they're nowhere to be found 😅
Thinking about heading down there July 4th weekend! Think they’ll stick around that spot till then??
Hard to say, they might not even be there now. They're always moving around, here one day gone the next but could also move back in there too.
is this at big creek?
Found a school like that this morning, couldn't get them to commit to a fly tho
That reminds me that I need to try a fly out on the boat! It's a bit more tricky for sure
@FishingKit was gonna suggest it but I know sometimes the fly stuff doesn't get the same views. You ever want some company shoot me a message Casey Peck I'm in most the fishing groups
I don't get that many views anyway 🥲
How's the wiper bite towards late July? I'm making my first (ever) trip down for them around July 19th - 21st. Good stuff as always.
They should be busting baits pretty in July, they're already starting to hit top water and it should only get better from here.
Targeting them on days with a lot of wind can be extremely productive on the lakes. Wind pushes shad up against points and banks. The whites and wipers follow... The fishing after several days of wind can be outstanding.
@@MrJoelJ1 Great info. I'm super pumped. Doing some homework and getting things prepped for the trip. Thanks!
@@JackT81 make sure to bring some white and shad colored slab spoons, inline spinners, swim baits, and flukes. We also have good luck with blue/chrome spoons, chartreuse twister tails. For top waters we catch them on whopper ploppers, pop-r's, zara spooks, and chug bugs. Standby colors should be shad/white, and others depending on water clarity and weather conditions.
By late July the shad are getting to be decent sized, so baits in the 3-4" profile are usually good.
@@MrJoelJ1 Appreciate the information. Thank you.
