Just wanted to let you know this new Create Mod series is so cool, keep it going.
Build a small city and a cathedral
You should seriously consider using Create: New Age. It adds electrical generation using kinetic energy (i.e. your steam engines). You can set up a power plant using the steam engines to turn an alternator, which you can then pull power from. When you pull power from the alternator you can run it along copper wires and make real power lines. This power can then be used to spin an electric motor within each of your buildings that need kinetic energy. You could make a more 'realistic' power plant this way by making a sub-station beside your plant rather than the shafts coming out of the side.
You can do the same thing and fuel blazeburners with lava via pipes or use bioethenol to superheat blazeburners via pipes
For the sequenced gearshift, it seems you may need to add additional instructions (similar to a train schedule). I also believe that turning the opposite direction simply requires a negative angle (I.e. -180°)
I agree, 2 instructions. Turn 90( or 180) and (re)turn -90 (or -180). Also I think you only needed a redstone torch not an entire clock. if the 3rd instruction can be repeat instead of end.
A small note for your washing, smoking, haunting, smelting station: the depot is less than a block tall so items n them occupy both the depot block and the one above, thus you can double the speed by adding an additional fan under each existing and dropping down the campfires, lava and water blocks down.
I watched a video demonstration of this maximized to x10 speedup, 2 per side & 1 above and below with a mechanical arm to place and pickup the items/stacks. Run it into a double chest with 2 brass funnels using matched attribute filters white and black listed per in /out( can be washed, smoked, smelted, haunted) and you've "automated it".

for the power lines from the plant, you can put metal brackets on the shafts to make them look more secured
A display board for the available / used power at the power station would be cool!
Once in the UI of the Sequenced Gearshift, you want to scroll in the 'End' section and there are a few options. You also don't need a comparator timer, the the Sequenced Gearshift has a 'Wait' option and there's a number of ticks it...waits for.
An example that you can use is Turn at 45° with a >>, Wait 40 ticks (2 seconds), Turn at 65° with a

you should add the framed blocks mod (it is the same thing with the copycat steps, panels etc. but with more blocks and shapes). You can also use metal brackets to the shafts so they look more secured
Also he should add the storage drawers mod. They look better than chests and add a lot of cool functions and are just better than chests in every way
you can make a valve handle to decorate your steam engines and the portal.
Also adding a steam whistle to your trains makes them, well, whistle every time they aproach a station
You should add a smokestack at the top of the new power plant, just for decoration
Metal Girders and Brackets make awesome deco blocks for your builds mate. Tip: Shafts can also run through the middle of placed Metal Girders in a similar fashion to Casings.
13:41 depending on what create add-ons you have, you can pump lava directly into a blaze burner, the add-ons I know add to the blaze burner ponder so that is an easy way to check. if you have create enchantment industry or create crafts & additions. both of these add methods to feed blaze burners directly. with the later being a new item called a straw
for the sequenced gearshift. you only need to power it and leave it powered and it will do whatever instructions you programmed it to do. and also, to make it go the other way, you just need to tell it to go the other way in the ui itself. there is an arrow that shows which direction the angle will move, you can set multiple angle and have it rotate right for one and left for the other.
At 16:54 he just let the demons out!!!
FYI when a boiler is at level 9 it means you can have 9 steam engines on it.
also, create has an item calld The Wand of Symmetry, which mirrors your blocks placement or breaks.. can save you A LOT of time when digging or filling floors

Dude btw you can pump more water in and add more steam engines to the main boiler to get wayyy more SU you can also use mods like crafts and additions to add electricity and fuel blazeburners with lava directly using pipes

30:00 the seqence gear shift will trigger all of its events every time it gets a redstone pulse. if the event does not reset it. it will not reset. look at the create redstone repeater as well for a more custom delay

the server admin/town mayor in me is getting a twitchy ban-finger with all these unlit rooms & roofs xDD
If you put copycat panels next to the shafts and put iron blocks, it will give the effect of real life power lines. (I think even steps can work)
You could also put the funnel that takes the empty bucket and puts it back on the depot on the side of the depot where your bucket is getting filled. Saves you a funnel and a depot...
I have a magical sense that I can detect when a new episode comes out
1) whatever you do PLEASE DISCONNECT YOUR WINDMILLS FROM PRODUCTION POWER NETWORK! If you overstress your main network and yur steam engine service lines are connected to main power production, your steam engines run out of water and lava! Or build a fourth wind generator connected only to pumping water and lava and moving lava buckets. Those must be separate power generation systems.
2) Try to put steam engines on the top of your boilers and connect shafts from there to power distribution line, it will look more steampunk.
3) you can add instruction lines to sequensed gearshift. Just add new line after move 180 line: move -180 and you cool.

you should make a automated mine with drills, and connect the train so it would collect the ores!
I think it would be cool if you put a villager in every factory and make him a manger 😂
Make a jetpack it really helps during builts.its like going into creative
Also if u would like add sophisticated backpack mod , it is very helpful not only for storage but some other stuff too (tool swapper, crafting , auto food eating and many more)
With the mechanical arms for the boilers if you can just put a funnel on the same depot you take the bucket from.
To get the best seam engine SU is to make a Blaze cake Factory to use as the fuel for the engine, and you need more water pump to go into the engine to get the best power.
P.s. I don't know if you can craft blaze cake, but I and others will like it if you use other addon modes that are for the create mod

it would be great if you would name the chicken train driver Dave. Also, about the crane, why not try adding another sequencer that will carry out its function after the first sequencer finishes.
To make it go the other direction use the arrow to the side of the angle, you can also make it go twice as fast both directions

You should make an airship that runs off of steam power it would be cool and it could carry cargo with some storage and please
allow it to have landing gear and just some basic skids or something like that would work. and i recently subscribed!
the better way of doing it is routing the power to the pump using instant accesible cogwheels and just connecting them to power somewhere else
You dont need the redstone clock, just put it to turn 180° in your desired direction, then put it to turn 180° in the opposite direction and leave it there

21:05 you could add brackets as well
24:22 as your using brass funnels anyway. you could just have the belt pass by the funnel. the funnel repects filters and will not take an item from a belt it doesn't want.
If your not doing this, at least change your brass funnels for andicate ones because they can also input a full stack without requiring any changes to your current set up
For the lava pumps actually treat lava as infinite sources so u could use nether train to transport lava and then pups an arms to fill buckets
How to do it: Place a redstone contact underground at both ends, then program the sequenced gearshift to: Rotate n degrees -> | Await new pulse | Rotate n degrees

On the sequenced gear shift there are 3 settings to a line. Use the scroll wheel to select options. What your looking for is [turn] , [°180] , [ >>] then your next line will be [turn] , [°180] , [

For branching from poles to ground you can use copycat trapdoors i think :)
Quick tips, for running pipes close together, run one pipe, and cover it in brass casing, that will keep the 2nd pipe from connecting to it.
Also, i think its the create new age add on, but it adds straws you make with bamboo that allow blaze burners to attach to fluid pipes, eliminating the need for mechanical arms and saving lots of SU's

It's weird because I see you and many other Create builders do the same thing: first you build a building, then place equipment inside, and more often than not have to pull crazy stunts to get it to fit right (not that I've seen you do that, yet... :P). Why not build the equipment first the way you want it, and then build a pretty building around it?

i think next time you need lava for a factory u should use belts with a nether portal when a belt throws a lava bucket into the portal it can fall onto a belt in the other dimension (sorry for bad english)
You should build automated food farms for all the dif crops another idea could be instead of dripstone you could make a nether train that brings lava from the nether that fills the nether portal fluid tanks :]

What shader is that because when I was trying some shaders, the fluid was glitching.
so basically youve got the problem of not maximizing windmill power it would just be a say 5x5 hole 128 blocks deep and then put big blobs of wool in super glue each of the 25 max windmills together (128 blocks is max windmill power) and there you got my half million stress units
