Thank you Sir, My grandfather signed over a 1966 K30 unfortunately it was lost to a fire. I am going to honor the legacy of his "welding rig" (has a 1966 Lincoln Arc and generator on back, custom Oxy/Acetylene bottle holders with leads in bed for arc welder and cutting torch, Heavy Duty Job box welded to bed, storage boxes mounted on each side) I developed Multiple Sculrosis and never got to use it in the field... I love the style of these pickups... I enjoy your videos and appreciate you.
“I learn much from watching, and thanks much! I follow what your doing on your truck, I’ve got a “63” C-10 with 383 Stroker 5 speed Tremec going in this Spring. You are helping me get ready Sir, for this upcoming mod for mine! I thank you much, also thanks for the work you showed for the “American Autowire” rewire job of yours, helps me. I’m a retired old dude from military with ptsd from serving for 18 years. I was Jet Engine Technician on B-52’s did well as Master Mechanic on jets. Trucks etc. are different of course. I’ve got difficulty getting info to my hands. It is slow for me, but again “your helping me so much Sir, I thank you for all you post here! “You Rock the old truck Sir!” Thank you!
When I’m not out in the garage working on my 64 C10, I’m enjoying the great videos you’ve done! Unfortunately mine just has a straight 6, but someday I’ll change it!
Nice job. The one thing that I have heard many people say is, just get it in place for now and align it later just before you tighten it up. That’s great advice!
great job on this truck brother I'll look forward to the next video and to what it looks like when it gets done keep it up and I can't wait to see what the next project is
As always, very nice job !! Went together pretty nice !! Working on mocking up a 57 Chevy front clip as we speak. Lots more pieces it seems. Straightening all the edges, panels, and filling all the un-necessary holes.
Nice work man!! Wish my 66 f250 front clip went together that easy. All the bolts on mine have a washer and a nut on the backside. I wished I was an octopus....🙄
You're my hero, been building my 66 along with you. Did you end up using any shims on those top inner fender to cab bolts? I can't get the lower inner fender to cab bolts to line up, it's weird since it's all original only been apart for 10 years lol. Looking forward to hearing back about the shims, thank you!
She's Rocking Brother your Pop is going to have fun cruzzing with you and your brother... I'm still trying to locate a grill for my 63 C10 let two slip by me. One was the custom aluminum grill darn... Found it but money wasn't in hand and then when I did get the money saved up the two grills had been sold darn... Keep On Trucking Brother...
She's lookin and soundin real nice!! I just picked up a 64 to build up. Your videos are a real inspiration to me and many others, and that's clear by the comments you get. I wonder who you use for parts on your beauties. Atleast the parts you didnt rebuild. Also I wonder if the rear end housing you used on the red 63 was stock.
Looks like the original radiator for that year. Where did find your fan shroud? It fits perfectly and raps around on each side. Most trucks don’t that year don’t have a shroud for whatever reason, including my truck.
outoftime ; I've seen a video of a Hot Rod show and a gentleman had a 4 door extra long box GMC he made it into a low rider the year was 63-66 model. They were used in the RR company and other places like big oil company and military.
Great looking truck. Question: why did you choose to install dual brake master cylinder with no power booster? I’ve notice quite a few people don’t have the booster?
Me Gibson I have gotten me a Donor truck for my 64 c10 I’m goin to put a ls motor in there what’s your thoughts on that and would you do something with a ls style motor

Your videos are very entertaining and helpful.
Love the 56 years survivor look on the body and all rebuilt everywhere else.
Me too. Its really grown on me. I wasn’t a fan before.
As someone how has no body working skills, much respect to you sir
The quality of his work is better than a lot of professional body men.
No body work skills? Wow I need that no skill work
You're videos has inspired my to do my 66C10. Great job!!
Looks great Mr. Gibson. Can't wait for it to warm up again where we are & get started on our 66' Impala. Your videos have been a great learning tool.

Great result with the front on and engine compartment looks like new !
You got talent sir with the final details.
Your truck is looking great. And I am learning a lot. Thank you.
That trucks gonna be nice and ready for the spring. Good job again.
Nice job. The one thing that I have heard many people say is, just get it in place for now and align it later just before you tighten it up. That’s great advice!

Man you do such nice work. Thanks for explaining everything just simple.
As always, very nice job !! Went together pretty nice !! Working on mocking up a 57 Chevy front clip as we speak. Lots more pieces it seems. Straightening all the edges, panels, and filling all the un-necessary holes.
Another great video, you've been busy, looking great
looks amazing mate, love the details to fill in the spaces
Making good progress, looking damn good. Everything lined up real nice.
Thanks man it’s coming together slowly
Your videos are good examples of how to make an interesting video without a bunch of unnecessary production.
Nice job sir. One step closer to being a dream ride.
Looking real nice bro👊
Gibson your work is beautiful man. I wish I had the 63. I have a 61 trying to pick up info and skills to get it done
awesome to see you in action again sir
Thanks man got to get it done
@@Gibson63. going with the patina look i see nice
Looking good brother. About to do the same my 65..Thanks for the video
Looking real nice. Great work.
These videos are real world. 😊. Very helpful.
Great inspiration to all of us doing the same thing.
Man all your stuff comes apart and goes together better than mine!
Keeping the original radiator support helped everything go back together pretty good, these aftermarket inner fenders worked out pretty good also
I don’t know what part of the country you’re in but if was ever your way I’m bringing a 12 pk of bud ! I love these videos man.
Nice work man!! Wish my 66 f250 front clip went together that easy. All the bolts on mine have a washer and a nut on the backside. I wished I was an octopus....🙄
Great work - as usual...
Need you to come work on my old truck lol. Nice work. 👍
Very cool , love the patina even if you don't paint it . Build On
Nice work!
Nice truck .
Very nice work
Looking good Gibson. Time for another ride around the block. Catch you later.
Awesome job, 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
You're a real metal master
That truck is beautiful 🥺
It’s looking good.
Thanks man
Thank You, Nice Work.

Gibson63; Cool Brother I need all the help I can get these days, thanks again and have a great day...Keep On Trucking Brother...

I wonder who you use for parts on your beauties. Atleast the parts you didnt rebuild. Also I wonder if the rear end housing you used on the red 63 was stock.
I use (Classic Parts) for most patch panels and small things, rear end I had built 373 Eaton slip positraction motive gear on my red pickup
I was hoping you would show how the core support and it's stack of rubber& washers go together. I'm needing some help!
Your work is incredible ! What color code is the truck?
Where did u pick up the metal from? It looks beautiful
You have done exactly what I was thinking with the air cleaner. Did you make it or buy it?
Looks like the original radiator for that year. Where did find your fan shroud? It fits perfectly and raps around on each side. Most trucks don’t that year don’t have a shroud for whatever reason, including my truck.
Radiator came from advanced auto parts. the shroud I ordered from classic parts
I like the paint the way it is ,I think if you blended the primed areas to match it would look great .I kinda' got used to the color .nice.
Awesome !
imagine if they made these in extended cab or 4 doors
outoftime ; I've seen a video of a Hot Rod show and a gentleman had a 4 door extra long box GMC he made it into a low rider the year was 63-66 model. They were used in the RR company and other places like big oil company and military.
I have a 65 with a front clip off a trans am . What do I need to do about the steering column to the gear box? Anything special I need to do.
Was there any bolts tied to the frame from the radiator support?
I have a 62 K10 4x4. Where did you get the suspension for your truck? Im trying to do something similar
Great job. When do you think you'll have it done.
Mid spring hopefully so my dad can go to some cruise ins with me
Love the video. How are you putting oil in the engine. I do not see any filler caps on valve covers or an older filling spout.
The valve covers were made by PML the oil filler hole is on the side of the valve covers along with the PCV valve
Thank you for the information. Dad and I are working on a 56 Bel Air 2 door hard top with a 327 I like that look
Is there. Place where I can get all brand new bolts with the body pieces that I replace?
What size/type screws did you use for the fan shroud?
Man, I wish you were able to help me restore my 64 C10, just started on it.
Hey man do you know if 60’s, 70’s and 80’s clips are interchangeable? Like putting a 70’s clip in my 85?
pends on what clip is it the 73-80 clip or the 67-72
What color is the black on the inner fenders?
Great looking truck. Question: why did you choose to install dual brake master cylinder with no power booster? I’ve notice quite a few people don’t have the booster?
I was going for a cleaner look under the hood was the only reason
@@Gibson63. thanks for the reply. What do you think about performance, do you wish you had a booster or is it fine?
👍
What radiator are you using?
I loved the red truck do you do this for a living I have a 64 that needs rockers cab corners probably more interested?
Thanks man I frame houses for a living I do these projects on the side
ok, ill send a pic when I get done nice trucks
where did you buy your patch panels
William DeMoss Classic parts
Where do you order your panels? LMC?
Me Gibson I have gotten me a Donor truck for my 64 c10 I’m goin to put a ls motor in there what’s your thoughts on that and would you do something with a ls style motor
The LS would be cool if you can get a good deal on it i’m just an old school 350 man on these old pickup trucks
Gibson do you only do your own work or do you work for pay as well? Man it's good enough
I don’t take on other jobs just love working on these old trucks for myself, I frame houses for a living
@@Gibson63. Well I gotta tell you man excellent jobs you've done keep the videos coming
Thanks gibson
Might install a lojack type generic GPS that tracks the truck from your cellphone, well hidden underneath.
I notice thar you did not list all the seals between the inner and outer fenders that the trucks came with
What do you call that rubber strip on the rear of the outer fender?
Don’t really know the name of that bad dog to tell you the truth
Did you put weather stripping between inner fender and cab ?
Yes I bought a weather strip kit for this truck that came with everything I needed
@@Gibson63. thank you.
I always thought it was complicated to remove/Install those body panels. Silly me.
where did you get the hardware kit for the radiator support?
Classic parts
@@Gibson63. thanks
Nice to work on a truck with no dam computer in it,pain simple and well built, all they make now is junk.
awesome vids !! Do you have a Instagram?
Thanks man I have Instagram but I’m never on it
AHA...I see you don't have a brake booster...I don't have one on my '78...and I ain't puttin one on my '63.
You are wasted in the building trade, wish you were in New Zealand, you could work on my project vehicle.
Gibson are you stil alife
Yea man everything’s cool should be back at it soon
Is your brother kicking himself yet?
My brother bought a 59 Apache right after he sold me this truck, I’ll be doing some work on it in a few weeks
She is looking like a truck.
