Man you are an inspiration to a lot of us. its just amazing to watch you. You explain your steps and next steps very well.. You give us all motivation to try repairs like this. I have a 1966 C10 and a 1968 C 10. Thank You So Much.
Just thought I'd drop a. comment in here and bring this video into the current day, lol. Working on my 62 project and looking for tips. Thank you very much!
You make it all look so easy! I had to replace all of those parts, and some of them I had to make. I wish I could of seen your videos before I did mine. You are the best! keep up the great work, cant wait to see it finished
My wife fell in love with a 63 C10 and I was crazy enough to buy it. Gotta do all this stuff and looking at it myself with no rust replacement experience I was about to bail and sell the thing. Glad I found your series. Thanks for your great video work and craftsmanship. I might just tackle it now...
Man you do such nice work! I would have sworn you were a body man for the last 20 years! I can only imagine how beautiful your framing must be. can't wait for the next video!
Wow Gibson63 that is some amazing work, i have been following your work on your truck and your brothers and i have learned a lot from your work, i am restoring a 64 c10 short bed stepside and i have been needing to learn how to do all of this stuff you are doing..thanks in advance for the videos.
That looks good. You do great work!! I am getting closer to starting on mine. Finally it is all coming together for me. My old 1964 will hit the road again. Mike
I understand that face !,, I just bought a 63 myself,, This is so cool, to have your great work right here as a reference,, please accept my most sincere thanks
cool! lookin forward to seeing how this one goes.. would be nice to see the original light fawn on the interior! lovin ya work from down under here is Aus
Great work Gibson63! Your videos are helping a lot of us. I have a 64 C10 with some of the same rust problems and these videos are giving me the confidence to try and save some money and do it myself. Is there anyway to post more of the floor panel cutting, fabrication, and spot weld removals of the cab supports?
I've watched a bunch of your videos now, soaking up all the techniques you demonstrate and trying to remember as much as possible. I know it's really not as easy as you seem to make it, but you make this seem attainable by the average guy with just enough tools and a whole lot of patience. I've got both a 71 and a 63 C-10, both belonged to my grandfather and I rode around in both of them when I was a little kid. Just about to start on the 71 cab because that truck needs work but little enough I can get it done. The 63 is a whole lot worse than the one you fixed up, maybe too far gone to save at this point. Keep up the great work!
You are an awesome fabricator, a pleasure to watch your videos. I have a 64 C-10 that needs some of the same work, that you did on your first truck, what do you set your welder on as I will be starting on my cab, front fenders and doors this summer?
I'm not a welder myself, but I wonder if rather that]n have the joints butt together on the floor panel, might it be good to have the new one overlap a bit? Or would that cause a problem? I really enjoy these videos.
Great work and very helpful video. I'm in school for collision repair and this is as educational as the I-CAR training videos. They only show new cars though, so I'd rather watch this! Your welds look solid as far as I can tell. What part of the country did this truck come from? I can't believe the amount of crud that was inside the rocker. I'm guessing the old patch only held in more moisture and made it worse in the long run.
Nice metal work and great camera work. Two questions, what line of work are you in and what state do you live in? Keep up the good work. Thanks for sharing...
Hi gibson63 miss your video question for you building a 1966 C10 long bed with my son frame off...want to install power steering in it what do u recommend in steering gear box should I go to the wrecking yard and pull one off another truck what year 68 through 78 would that work or do u have a video that I could watch.....hope to here from you....
Mad respect man. New catch phrases you should do some T-Shirts "Here We Go" "Let's Get Started" With a welder or cut off tool in the back. Make some money off your talent.
Hi Gibson, I love your job, you're very good at what you do. I am from Uruguay and need a full and new 350 chevrolet engine, do you know where I can call to buy one?
Thanks I enjoyed your first build and I'm loving this one. I've been on the hunt for a 66 for years. Your giving me the courage to save some money and get a project instead of a finished c10!

2:22 That look he gives the camera when he cracks open the old rocker panel & half a century's worth of dirt & debris falls out! Lol!!!🤣🤣🤣
"Hey! You're throwing sparks all the way back here!" Steve: "Yeah, I know." Goes right back to cutting! LOL! Priceless!
Great work ! The look on your face when you peeled that rocker back was hilarious !
I was looking at that myself . It was very funny !
Just thought I'd drop a. comment in here and bring this video into the current day, lol. Working on my 62 project and looking for tips. Thank you very much!
