@@SwampSawyer yessir, needed your sawmill for that one lol. I don’t mind pushing the head through a log, but flipping logs, clamping and adjusting backstops gets old fast.
Good job. I've been turning down orders for large quantities just because it would take so long on a manual mill. The channel The Old Man and The Saw has his Wood-Mizer LT40 Wide for sale but it would be a bit of a haul for you, he's up this way.
@@southernadirondackoutdoors It’s definitely more work than I want to do on the manual mill, but have to make it pay for a bigger one too. We are gonna look at different mills and see what makes sense financially and find something that will do everything we need done without running around the mill all day rolling logs and breaking our backs. I love these little Norwoods they are so easy to use, but I’ve been putting a hurting on this thing lately, no where near a production mill, hobby mill at best.
@@StandardLivingHomestead I got a buddy near me might be selling his LT40, he was thinking of selling it after this season but he might earlier. just let me know if interested and I'll check, he's over here a mile from me.
@@SwampSawyer if I stayed with Norwood it would definitely be the HD38, however I’m pretty sure I’ll get more bang for the buck on something like a Cooks, I like the HD32 they build. Super heavy built mill for the price. Unless I find a deal on a gently used LT40 with the stationary control station.
Good work. I can’t wait to get back to milling myself. Plenty trees to cut up
Thank you. I know when we were between mills a few years ago it drove me nuts not to be able to cut my own lumber.
Sounds like a big job you got there,

Oh awesome, does he have the stationary control center?
@ I think it does I’ll check to see if he is ready to sell it or waiting until summer
@ he said it does not have the stationary. Oh well.
which mill you going to? you sticking with Norwood?

That elevator music sucks.
