Yes! More Maneskin! Regardless of their catchy tunes and eye catching videos, they have a real talent for song writing, especially lyrics! Their Italian songs are true masterpieces! Always react to their Italian songs with the lyrics pulled up in English! This band is very inclusive and want to normalize images or subjects that seem to make most uncomfortable. I love this group! Always more PTX, Superfruit and Maneskin! More Encanto, too, if you haven't started that journey yet! Not too much chair dancing today because of the stunning visuals, maybe on the next one! :)

Among other things, the band is also about sexual liberation, to be free to be whatever you want to be, proudly. Damiano and Thomas kissed on a concert in Poland, that is the most homophobic country in Europe, to make a point saying "you should be free to be whatever you are".
I'd say Hungary is worse (so bad they quit Eurovision) although Maneskin rocked up at an MTV Europe award with Damiano in a see through blouse and pleather opera gloves so even those shitty bigots the couldn't escape. There's also an amusing story how the Hungarian gov leant on the runners of recent Europe soccer tournament to get the Germans to take their pride flags down in the stadium. They did so but lit up every other building nearby, handed out pride flags and had a guy run into the pitch with a pride flag.
In the bad old days the Germans and Italian used to be the fascists now they're defying them .. ...in style.
@@EmoBearRights oh believe me the bad old days never completely disappear, I am Italian, and I can see hatred, dismissal, bitter jealousy, and bigotry toward them, and it's so shameful that still the church is so fascist and still so influential towards certain mentalities. I'm straight and certain inhuman behaviour toward gay people, disgust me as human being profoundly. One more reason not to be religious by the way.
@@Patricia7561 Yeah I can see how that might be and the anti LGBT+ were a factor in me ultimately rejecting religion although some people manage to be allies while retaining their faith.
@@EmoBearRights I am old fashioned, believe it or not, in the sense that certain principle of decency, compassion, and be kind one another isn't a matter of compromise, in a sense being Italian I grow up very much with the basic principles of Christianity, but those principle are clashing with the reality of what religion dies to people, and I cannot be living an hypocritical life. Or your kind and understanding toward everybody or you are not, or you see everybody as follows human beings or you don't. There isn't half way. Or you act according to what you believe or you are an hypocrisy manifesto. And the church is the manifesto of hypocrisy that tops them all.
I too believe it's all about sex. One performance during the lines "I want to paint your face like your my Mona Lisa" he acts out like he is pleasuring himself "onto" someone. Great band, great music. Even the songs in Italian are fantastic!!

This song with the help of the video tries to say that if it is shared by all the participants and it does not harm anyone it is right that people are free to express themselves both sexually and in any context without shame for who they are.
