He was very much inspired from guru arjan sahib ji and was a great admirer of him. He used to read sukhmani sahib ( composition of guru arjan sahib ji on almighty, the epitome of peace and giver of peace) along with quran. Both respected each other very much. Sukhmani sahib is a sikh prayer also.

I would like to request something from the Sikh community here. Guru Nanak Dev Ji has taught us the principles of sharing food and doing sewa (Kirat kro, naam japo te vand chakko). Although I am from the Hindu community, I am eager to contribute to sewa in gurudwaras by assisting in the preparation of langars or serving kadha prashad. I am curious whether they would permit me to participate in making langar or serving kadha prashad, activities typically carried out by Sikhs. Kindly inform me if my participation would be accepted.??
Absolutely. There is no discrimination or shouldn't be. Sadly some of the so called Sikhs have forgotten this with this mad desire for a separate homeland so be wary if you are abroad ie Canada, Australia & here in the UK. These people have forgotten their own history & spin lies instead.
