1996 Rolex Air-King “Domino's” ref. 14000

Co-branded Rolex dials are some of the rarest vintage Rolex dials ever made, and they are most frequently a union with prestigious companies such COMEX and Tiffany & Co. These watches often command huge price premiums at auction. However, not all co-branded Rolexes boast heritage or upscale names. In fact, many feature some truly unexpected secondary logos printed upon them, and arguably none better represents the highbrow/lowbrow co-branded Rolex phenomenon than the Domino’s Pizza Rolexes. In our latest installment of What Is On My Wrist, Craft + Tailored’s CEO Cameron Barr cuts a slice of pizza topped with Rolex history and discusses a 1996 Rolex Air-King ref. 14000 that features his personal favorite variation of the cult-favorite “Domino’s Pizza” co-branded dial.

Vintage 34mm Rolex on a steel bracelet. Bracelet just adds extra substance on the wrist rather than a strap. Just about a perfect everyday watch. Elegant and completely under the radar. Even more comfortable than a 36mm on the wrist.

Kinda wish Tudor took on this part of Rolex’s heritage like they do with many other things. Not necessarily Dominos but willing to offer this kind of thing to customers. They kind of have with the Air France logo on a GMT but haven’t yet seen one emerge on the market or beyond that.

1996? Some examples that are for sale indicate serial numbers up to 2006. I looked up a lot of sale ads and mid 2000 watcher are out there, just no Domino dial, but have block on the bracelet
