I do prefer the smooth bezel over the domed one, I really wish they kept it, although I'm interested in getting and Air king 114200on blue dial, and Arabic numerals at 3 6 and 9, just like the Explorer.
Huge appreciation for stating the bracelet build. I held two generations of Datejust, one with hollow and one with solid links and it really made a difference on wrist feel. It was actually pretty disappointing finding out how much I disliked the hollow bracelet. I came for info on the 14000, but now knowing its not solid it looks like my quest continues. 😅
