The scenery is incredible but I can tell you that every time you watch them you’ll always find something you’ve missed. I have to wait for the DVD’s to come out as we don’t have Starz either but I would rather wait and own it, that way I can watch whenever I like.

What I love about this besides the great acting of 2 beautiful people is that I can see how they’ve actually aged with their characters. We do age gradually and somewhat discreetly over 6 years but that’s not a bad thing because with self care and the wisdom of maturity one becomes even more beautiful. And that’s what I see here with Sam and Caitriona as Jamie and Claire.

I’ve been rewatching season 1 AGAIN lately and I found that season 1 IS COMPLETE. The romance, sadness, and COMEDY! omg the Scots were so HILARIOUS I died laughing AGAIN like the first time I watched it. The wedding episode killed me with laughter and ep 8 during the self defence lesson scene😂 Angus was like “mistress don’t kill him yet, wait till the lesson’s over”😂 and omg so much butterflies in my stomach before Jamie and Claire were married. SEASON ONE IS MASTERPIECE! ALSO the narration of Claire and Jamie. Earlier episodes Claire was narrating and later episode Jamie also started narrating. I don’t know why but the narrations always gives me goosebumps, I feel like I was being pulled into the novel. Especially Jamie’s with his deep Scottish voice, narrating his perspectives. I can almost quote dialogues in season 1😅
To be so completely in love with someone that nothing around you or any type of treasure could mean anything to you as long as he or she is with you that's all that matters. The fact that Claire kept his love so alive and in front of her at all space and time ahead, says they were completely meant for each other on this earth and in this time and in his time, means they were connected by their souls. What a blessing for so few people can find their perfect match in present time but also in past time.
What a beautiful tribute to Jamie and Claire’s love story. The greatest love story ever… I never want it to end! Thank goodness for Diana’s books it won’t ever end… I can read them over and over again! But watching this along with reading makes it so much more enjoyable ♥️🔥
