Elemental Flare is part of Anniversary edition, not a mod and you can find upgraded versions of it in Hobbs Fall cave near winterhold. It also benifits of frost, fire, and shock destruction perks despite only doing shock and fire damage.
The ghosts in Skyrim are all voiced by Craig Sechler, who voiced the elves in Oblivion. I wish they had him do the Bosmer too, just because it works so well with how insane they are.

@@JoovI think something like Wildlander might be fun for you, it overhauls the games difficulty while bringing more lore friendly editions to the game. And unlike many of the other popular mod list overhauls it doesn’t have that plastic look to the visuals. Only thing is I don’t know if many of these 1 click install list would be good for your style of short form playthrough videos as most of them require many hours to get to the good stuff.

Something I only learned about a week ago is that the hotkeys in the favorite menu on that mod are actually a vanilla feature, minus the hotbar... it'd have been nice if that were in any way communicated at any point in the game. But yeah, you just select what you want and press a number key
Maybe this is a hot take, but I think this is the best Skyrim video on UA-cam. I found it yesterday and since then have watched it 4 - 5 times. its so good it actually makes me want to reinstall this game.
i have a few things to say: in wintersun, Namira is one of the best gods when it works. his poison aura is very powerful against living enemies. second best is probably... Sithis only because of his favor that breaks the game. (i suggest not picking sithis except if you want to gain an aoe one shot instakill by simping for 4 hours straight.) you have to pray each day if you want your favor to go up, at 100% you get a god's favor power, which usually is very powerful. also, elemental flare is very very good. but it's not even its final form. Flare (11/11 dmg) goes up to bolt (20/20) which goes up to Burst (40/40)
Walking under a large boss's swings is a very high level mechanic in Souls games. Instead of dodging you just use spacial placement to put yourself in the enemy's safe zone at all times possible while you chip away at them. It is one of those things that I see and instantly understand the level of understanding you have of the game.

Also just so you know, using retextured for more things can make your game more stable, like maybe getting enhanced vanilla trees of something, also wet and cold is really buggy, maybe get rid of that for stability. really liking the enhanced vanilla!
That's honestly a bummer if Wet and Cold causes problems. It may seem like a small detail but NPCs dressing more properly for weather, going indoors during storms. It really elevates the sandbox
@@Joov it does, there are other mods that do the same, like Skyrim is cold, and I’m pretty sure there is another mod that adds weather fx to characters, but I can’t remember the name, I’m also a sucker for immersion!

You’re right! I tweaked it a lot trying to get a good feel of player vs. AI reach and feeling - there’s definitely a sweet spot of FOV, Precision settings and Balance mods that would be perfect out there somewhere!
First of all, the amount of work you put into your videos truly shows and makes the video so much more enjoyable. But aside from that, you have this way of making video games feel truly fun again, something which I think a lot of people today feel that they have lost. The wonder of coming up with and executing ridiculous plans and crafting your own stories within the games is what makes watching you feel like such a fun and unique experience. i just check your mod list and idk if it was the same like my experience, but the one that caused crash for me was the wet and cold, it has conflict with, you guess it, survival mode from creation club. so either you remove it and change it with frostfall, you download a fix for survival mode and delete all previous save file or you could just installed the gear version of wet and cold and installed rass for effect (the gear would be distributed by spid) and start a new game, or from a save file before you use wet and cold... (it could be the tree lod light thingy too, but i wouldn't know since i never installed it)
Man it's crazy how much brown and gray is in Skyrim. I hope the next one is more colorful. For some reason movies and games set in old time periods use a ton of brown and grey for clothes and environments.
Make sure to use the skyrim loot program to help scan and arrange your mods for better compatibility between your mods. The more mods you use the more important it is to arrange them properly for better stability.
Always good to see a Joov video but also SHOUT OUT to your editor, seriously. At one point I literally restarted the video because I couldn't stop thinking about that clean af "Joov presents" edit.
You should do the same thing but do the intense survival thing with sleep food and drink and camping … and also make it so you can only use certain weapons based on your chosen “profession” or class
As someone who uses the religion mod and does these sorts of challenges, Arkay is the best god worship for the single reason of when you get completely drained of health/death you get revived…. It’s an amazing perk for when you’re doing a no death run in Skyrim. the only requirement is that you have to be 100% devoted, trivial if there’s no time requirement but this can be bypassed through sleeping and praying over and over again, I only say that because you only have 15 hours but it shouldn’t take too long in reality
Not every game needs an i-frame dodge roll just because Souls games have one. Especially not one where you can already move nimbly enough to where _just moving_ allows you to physically dodge (you know, without i-frames, just by moving out of the actual darn way).

Really great video! I had it just in my recommended page and randomly came across your content. Love the intro and cinematography with it. The different types of music throughout the encounters really made Skyrim's combat somehow more engaging.
How I understand it. Playthrough - You play the game from start to finish. In the case of Skyrim, completing whatever quests you deem to be 'the end', or just getting bored of that run. Modded Playthrough - Same thing, but with mods to change the game to some extent. Challenge Run - Imposing rules on yourself while playing to make the game harder. This can include time limits, banning use of mechanics, or even use of mods to change core rules of the game. The Pokemon 'Nuzlock Challange' is an example. A time limit to prepare and then take on a tough fight is another example. Handicap Run - Modding the game to provide extra bonuses, making the game even easier than the easiest vanilla difficulty. Such as modding in a 'plasma bolt' spell that costs 1mp per shot and charges instantly, and doing 100dmg per hit, and benefiting from all perks... even speech for some reason. (Note, I don't think it is a real mod... just an oddly specific example that really is just off the top of my head.)

i just check your mod list and idk if it was the same like my experience, but the one that caused crash for me was the wet and cold, it has conflict with, you guess it, survival mode from creation club. so either you remove it and change it with frostfall, you download a fix for survival mode and delete all previous save file or you could just installed the gear version of wet and cold and installed rass for effect (the gear would be distributed by spid) and start a new game, or from a save file before you use wet and cold... (it could be the tree lod light thingy too, but i wouldn't know since i never installed it)

Man it's crazy how much brown and gray is in Skyrim. I hope the next one is more colorful. For some reason movies and games set in old time periods use a ton of brown and grey for clothes and environments.
Make sure to use the skyrim loot program to help scan and arrange your mods for better compatibility between your mods. The more mods you use the more important it is to arrange them properly for better stability.

You should do the same thing but do the intense survival thing with sleep food and drink and camping

As someone who uses the religion mod and does these sorts of challenges, Arkay is the best god worship for the single reason of when you get completely drained of health/death you get revived…. It’s an amazing perk for when you’re doing a no death run in Skyrim.
the only requirement is that you have to be 100% devoted, trivial if there’s no time requirement but this can be bypassed through sleeping and praying over and over again, I only say that because you only have 15 hours but it shouldn’t take too long in reality

Not every game needs an i-frame dodge roll just because Souls games have one.
Especially not one where you can already move nimbly enough to where _just moving_ allows you to physically dodge (you know, without i-frames, just by moving out of the actual darn way).

Man I would just like to say I found your channel not too long ago and I dig it! I revisited Vanilla Skyrim recently on Switch totally thinking I wouldn't be able to again without mods, but I so am, and its partly because of your videos. Your content is goofy while also kinda immersive and true to the authenticity of the Elder Scrolls universe 👍

No save scum rule was very brave, random inexplicable crashes are why I press f5 more than any other key in modded skyrim.

Really great video! I had it just in my recommended page and randomly came across your content. Love the intro and cinematography with it. The different types of music throughout the encounters really made Skyrim's combat somehow more engaging.
How I understand it.
Playthrough - You play the game from start to finish. In the case of Skyrim, completing whatever quests you deem to be 'the end', or just getting bored of that run.
Modded Playthrough - Same thing, but with mods to change the game to some extent.
Challenge Run - Imposing rules on yourself while playing to make the game harder. This can include time limits, banning use of mechanics, or even use of mods to change core rules of the game. The Pokemon 'Nuzlock Challange' is an example. A time limit to prepare and then take on a tough fight is another example.
Handicap Run - Modding the game to provide extra bonuses, making the game even easier than the easiest vanilla difficulty. Such as modding in a 'plasma bolt' spell that costs 1mp per shot and charges instantly, and doing 100dmg per hit, and benefiting from all perks... even speech for some reason. (Note, I don't think it is a real mod... just an oddly specific example that really is just off the top of my head.)
