An Icom 751 is a mess too. Had to replace the brain IC board in mine because the volatile memory was wiped from the button battery went dead. I opted for a board that had non volatile memory so now when the battery on the new one goes dead i won't lose the whole radio just stored frequencies.

I spray that board with alcohol then wipe it down

Switch cleaner all over it leave it then repeat
