I did want to let David know there are situations where people are on state disability and still work. We have one at our job The state allows her to work 20 hours a week and they send in a work coach a couple of times a week to help her with her job, hers is not so much a physical disability but a mental and she's been employed with our company over 20 years

You are allowed to work when on disability.

State disability allows you to work.
Retirement disability allows you to work.
Look into it.
