This chapter poses a new kind of threat. The enemy now is able to warp skip the map and throw the danger right into your face.
Once again we start aggroing via Lyn. Idk if targetting Marni is the only condition for that, I just copied from ‪@VerveFEH‬ . However, Marni's AI is specifically designed to stay close to Mauvier, unless something worth attacking is within range. It's quite hilarious to see Marni being drawn out of her own Miasma just to try to destroy an ice pillar. The peripheral enemies are wiped by Kagetsu. Accumulately, the hitrates aren't that high, with a modest ~50% chance of success. At the time I thought I couldn't double them, but now I think it's possible via inheriting additional speed and Lucina's high speed boost. Anyways, the goal of destroying those cavs is to clear the vicinity for the next boss fights.
Roy!Marni is the most annoying thing to exist thanks to high Def and Hold Out. Ivy once again cements her position as a hard counter to Marni. She needs additional bulk elsewhere to, because Marni's subsequent phase can counter attack with Binding Blade. Thankfully, Eirika's healing effect is barely enough to keep Ivy in the game. Once getting past her Hold Out threshold, I use additional chain attacks to make sure she stays down.
For Mauvier, his physical bulk is still within Panette's capability. Thanks to her prowess, taking him down is smoother. I set up a All for One not just for show off, but to make sure my Silver Blade hit doesn't push him back, so that Saphir can obliterate him.
This is the last time this game has so much fun, because staff warping has enter the fray, ripping the game into pieces.

Polaxe is op I guess? having watched some of your recent stuff its impressive. chapter 17/16 bonded shield strats were kinda nuts, I didn't think the enemies would react the way they did.

You don’t really need bulk because of Bonded Shield.
