i only have acoustic so i learn everything on it. but ill get a cheap $200 electric starter kit with 10w amp when i can afford it....honestly i prefer playing acoustic for most styles, especially for fingerpicking/strum tap etc....they give off a beautiful natural sound. But really want the electric with distortion for solo/rock/metal riffs! 🤟

Awesome lesson! When I was deciding which teacher to choose on the Internet many years ago, I thought the guy with a similarity to Billie Joe was a very good choice. Now I know Marty is much more than that, or the guy with the hat and the awesome guitar collection, etc. Marty is a genius in the art of teaching, awesome musician and has introduced me into the blues, and I think I'm blessed for that.

Cory Laing I think most Green Day songs have been recorded on a P90-pickup, but single coils and P90s are pretty similar when it comes to sound (P90s are a little fatter in their tone)

I have some idea, or can we call it a request. I plan to start learning Hit the Road Jack, but in fuct, I couldnt find your lesson. I think, it's so great song to learn improvise on it(not I'm in the middle of your Blues Guitar Lessons set) and i think would be cool if you could gather together many ways to play rhytm part and also lead parts(maybe also fingerstyle?) and show some ideas how to improvise on them? Would be cool dont you think ;)?
