@@NotFitforPrintBeauty they surprisingly look great as eyeshadow... especially the second eye look. But $69? Don't think so!! And I don't like mixing eye & lip products in the same palette...just not my thing!! Can't believe you got these!! You brave!! 🥰
@@pinksparkle258 it was brave but, in a way, I disliked the large eyeshadow palette so much that these could only be better. So it felt like less of a risk ha ha

I nearly purchased the larger eyeshadow palettes but realised I was being seduced by the gorgeous outer packaging 😬 The contents of these cute eye/face palettes seem to be better quality & more cohesive colour stories 😊💕

I love lavender/purple blush. But I also like yellow and orange too. I usually just sheer out eyeshadow because outside of indie not many mainstream brands those blush shades. Fenty and Melt have nice ones.

I've worked out what makes your reviews stand out to me. You really play with the make up and just focus on seeing how it works than making a absolutely perfect look. (I don't mean that in a rude way I promise!) I love that I can get a really good impression of the product quickly from your videos.

I am a beauty editor so I play with products and I kind of put them on and I kind of see how they work. Exactly. That is the public relations message I need for my channel. Hmmmm they still read more like eye shadow palettes to me. Cute but didn’t blow me away. I’m still waiting for the pat McGrath Bridgerton face palette in a travel format. I wish she had done that one in a regular size palette. The hunt is still on.

I like the eye look you got out of the 2nd palette. These little palettes would be nice for people that travel a lot and don’t need a lot of color options.

Very pretty on both looks! I like the heavier rouge application, it gives a healthy flush to your cheeks and coordinates with your lips. Nice!

Hi! Well, I am indeed surprised that you went for these, considering your previous reviews of Gucci eyeshadows. I do like both palettes on you. The first one is most practical for doing workplace looks on the go. If these eyeshadows have superior longevity, especially the highlighting shade, then I will go for that one. I would love to see an all-day wear-test. Thanks again Rebecca!

It’s still a very hefty price tag. I’m just glad to finally like something from Gucci. I had a whole vendetta against the other eyeshadow palettes! Ha ha
Gosh, these Gucci palettes are screaming Clarins. Do you remember Clarins had the same design a few seasons past? The Clarins palettes weren’t well received, poor pigmentation. The Gucci palettes certainly are pretty and you did make great use of them. Beautiful looks! Thank you for a great review.❤

Oh these looks turned out super pretty!!! For some reason, I haven’t been excited about their beauty products. I’m not a fan of the non traditional pan shapes, but I’m sure lots of folks will love these palettes as they are very pretty and seem easy yo apply❤

Question, don't know if you can answer, but is the rosewood cream in the Summerina Brown palette similar to the other Gucci rosewood lip shades, i.e. their Tenre Rosewood color lip liner pencil?
That is a great question. I don’t have them all in front of me to compare unfortunately but from what I have seen in store and whatnot, they are incredibly similar but the different formulas makes them look a little bit differently. But if you like one you would indeed like them all, if that makes sense. By the way, so thrilled to have you here. 💕

The italian flag palette gives me so much ICK I can't even explain lol 😅 for some reason that mauvey pink next to that red bothers me to no end, BUT you managed to create such a pretty look with it❣🥰👍💕
They do create some strange color pairings, don’t they? And I still think of Gucci as an Italian house even though we know they were sold and they are about as Italian as… I was going to say fettuccine Alfredo which I always thought actually was not truly Italian but now I hear is. So I need to come up with a better analogy

See, there's a million recipes and actually one of my all time favourites that my mum is still rocking nowadays is in fact with a white sauce and chicken! And I mean full chicken legs, not just bits! But because it has curry spice in it I don't know about the origins of it 🧐 probably a hybrid recipe taken from a recipes book made by an adventurous (and genius I may add) italian cook 🤩 all I can say is a big fat YUM 😋

How relieved I was to see that they were not the same door-stoppers you bought last time! For the price, I didn't think they looked luxury at all but something you could pick up from what you call a drugstore. The packaging wasn't at all appealing. As for the product, they looked nice when applied but nothing special. You'll probably get more use from them for the face. They simply weren't shades I didn't have already or would use together. I expected more from Gucci. PS. I just purchased the Chanel Quad and Lilac Balm Essential. As much as I loved the blush, I already have so many, including glow blushes. I really would like the other Balm Essential in Drageé and the Rose Gold Eye-Liner. Help me! I need will-power!!🇦🇺💖🕊

Though I do like these and give them a good review for people who want to purchase them, would they be at the top of my purchase list for myself? No. There are other face pallets that are much nicer. The new Chanel for instance and even something from Nars

Hey Rebecca. I’m wondering if you’ve tried these since this video and how you’re finding them? I’m feeling so intrigued but there seems to be very few people who’ve purchased and zero hype about them.
Kristy. I'll be entirely honest with you, which I know you realize. Haha. Ok. So...they are a success in that they are NOT terrible like previous Gucci eyeshadow releases. It's like FINALLY, something fun and actually usable eye makeup wise from Gucci, right? AND a face palette? YAY. And then....and then...you look at your collection and there are so many OTHER, more exciting face palettes and eyeshadow shades and these just...these end up not calling to anyone. I never reach for them. My initial happiness was simply that it wasn't a fail. And it's NOT a fail...it is, however, a big bore.

We are entering a dangerous zone where they are labeling purely intended eyeshadow palettes as face palettes. It’s dangerous because every color isn’t a face color unless the intention is pure creativity.
