The block is perfect for the upcoming holiday and any day depending on the fabrics you choose. I also like the idea of hand embroidering around the star. Thank you for a fantastic video!
You’re tutorial is great. Explaining as you iron, cut, show and sewing is perfect. This is a gorgeous star. Telling stories before the tutorial is a turn off. Thank you for this.
This is beautiful fabric! Great tutorial and I am an experienced quilter but had a stroke 12 years ago and lost peripheral vision on the right side of both eyes. I like the extra basic instructions.
I'm an experienced quilter but am always looking for new channels to watch. Maybe you could turn your phone sideways next time (in portrait view) and then more of what you're doing will show. I love star blocks!
I bought fabric, but no pattern, to go with a panel. I plan to make a queen sized quilt and really like your star block! Is the block 8.5” unfinished? 8” finished? Thank you so much!
What size is each block before doing this? It's confusing. I get the 5 in block for the one you cut for 2.5 in square pieces. So are the other blocks 5 in or 4.5 to make all 9 pieces same size before assembly?😊
Most charms are 5” square but some are larger and some are smaller, that will affect your finished size. If you start with 5” charms your four patch will finish at 4.5”. Trim your HST to match the size of your four patch
I love the the block, but because of the size of the screen, it's really hard to see what you're doing at times. Maybe change the screen orientation next time to make it easier to see all the steps you're doing.
Love the block and how simply it comes together without a pattern.❤
It is an easy and fun block. 🤗

The fabric is by Riley Blake.
Ty that is so simple.
I am so glad you found it easy! 🤗
I love your kitty meowing. I love cats. I have two and have had others in the past. So cute.
I love Michael Miller Frost fabrics. Love love love them.
I could not see the whole process like when you were doing the pinning. I think I really like this block.
I will do another this week.

Lovely block. What brand ruler did you use. Thanks for sharing
Creative Grids Ruler 🤗
I love this block! I love your singer machine, too😁 Excuse me for asking, but what is that attachment on the side of your machine? It reads vivi lux?
It’s a light.😊
It’s an LED light that I can take from machine to machine. Ir attaches with a little velcro and is rechargeable with a usb cable.
Hi, what does your star block measure?
8.5” square
@@sisterofthedivide1153how can that be. You have 3 squares at 5” each. That is 15” less 1” for the seam allowance

Yes. That is correct.

What size charm are you starting with?
Most charms are 5” square but some are larger and some are smaller, that will affect your finished size. If you start with 5” charms your four patch will finish at 4.5”. Trim your HST to match the size of your four patch

Thank you. I think I will re do it.
