The harnesses are a great suggestion. I flipped my 2011 RZR 800 S backwards down and hill at a park in TN. My buddy that witnesses this believes I flipped 5 times. During the tumble my OEM seatbelts came loose and I was ejected from the machine and lucky to have survive the crash. I was able to walk away though sporting severe bruising and a concussion. The ironic thing is I had brand new 5 point harnesses at my house but had not installed them yet. They were immediately installed in the 2012 that I replaced it with. LOL

Thanks G! Seems like there are a lot of new people coming into the sport that have these types of questions, so we created some videos to (hopefully) prevent people from wasting their money, that's always the worst feeling!

5. Door bags with knee pad ( come on polaris make the damn cockpit wider )
6. Light bars everywhere (because you have to look like your a night riding professional)

5. I agree, even 2-3" inches would make a huge difference for us tall guys.
The RZR seats do suck but for the price of good seats you can knock out a lot on my list...

Seven accessories that should have came stock for the price of a RZR
Some of the newer or higher end models include better harnesses, a roof, but I agree there are quite a few items missing.
What lightbar mounting brackets are on that rzr??? I have a 40” bar that’s too wide to mount on the roof of my 2020 xp turbo with the provided mounting brackets from superatv

Roof tops? A bimini shade is cheap, also, if you are on a budget you can usually find a used or take off on your local Facebook groups.
I really like how easy it is to install your mirrors. I've got them on my RZR 900. The multi point harness upgrade is a must IMHO, even at lower speeds they provide an excellent degree of safety and are superior in the event of rollovers or other extreme maneuvers...I know after having rolled my machine.

Just starting to look into getting a UTV. Can't believe for the price these things cost that they don't come with a lot of these things standard.
They've been getting better, X3's, Talons, and YXZ's come with roofs, and the Turbo S comes with decent seat harnesses. But there's lots of customizing that goes on for sure.
What about a roof? Polaris needs to include a roof as a standard part on all rzr‘ s
No doubt, with some models coming with and the amount of people getting custom cages we left it off the list, a MUST in the desert sun!
We should not have to purchase new cages for any machines they should come from the factory with a safety rating that is safe for everything besides falling off of a cliff

We do not, I would check Amazon or possibly brands like Dragonfire.

SpaceCowBoy I’ve had good luck with the RTIC and also a cheap Igloo (as part of a UTV Giant storage box), and it’s good if iced down and you start with cold drinks for all day rides. Freeze 3-4 drinks the night before. My AO cooler has a leak, will report back later...
I didn't see a the roof mounted quick release flag mount
We do not sell one, but we use 5150 Whips which has a slick magnetic mount setup that's quick release, as long as you undo the wire.
In Arizona a mister is way more important than door bags

@@Str8Lthl ECU tune and clutching, and once you step up with beefier tires that are taller, you will get more top end mph.
@@Str8Lthl exhaust wont help much with power, more for looks and sound, not worth the $$ if you are looking for performance gains.
