No hate by the way. Love the channel.
This is the first final fantasy game that’s caught my eye. It looks like an actual medieval style game without being “too” Japanese. Might be the first FF game I I ever play.
Have you seen a FF game before? None of them are "too japanese" in the slightest. Not trying to be a jerk, but this makes no sense to me. There's nothing overtly japanese or even anime in any of them. They've always have unique art styles and design. The only "japanese" thing about them is the overly dramatic storylines that some times dont make sense.
@@Syn-eo7yv idk I feel like a lot of characters in FF games are very japanese anime looking with the very spiky outrageous hair, and giant weapons that don’t make much sense to me. I think FF16 is gonna be so amazing, remember guys Falcon is a huge pessimist with a lot of games, its not necessarily a bad thing but it can skew opinions.
Not even pessimistic about the game, either. I don't think they'd just plop out a turd in mainline FF. Just hesitant. My standards for FF are very high, tbf higher than a lot of series, and I'm just hoping it hits them.
Kinda have to agree with Falcon's uncertainty on this one. The gameplay and music looks astounding and that's great, however it feels like the characters and story have a bit of a "generic jrpg fantasy" style to them so I hope I just got the wrong impression and that the game won't suffer from wonderful mechanics at the cost of a blunt narrative.
@@Jaedaell Same. I feel like Final Fantasy games in recent years have started to look more and more like popcorn flicks: flashy, bombastic, big budget but not as much substance as some of the older games. And i can't wait for FFXVI. It looks stunning. Love the look of the world. Combat looks great. So i'm extremly pumped.
Make sure you play FF7 Remake
There are personally no June 2023 games I'm interested in.
FFXVI has been pushing the narrative though what are you on about mate
“It looks like an Ace Attorney game but completely different”
Well you don’t say?
Me playing Mario 3: “Man this looks like Mortal Kombat but completely different.”
Me playing Spider Man: “Wow, this looks like Madden but completely different.”
Me playing GOW: “Man this looks just like Tetris but completely different.”
Just saying.
No hate by the way. Love the channel.
Final Fantasy 16 is the only right answer.
Only if you have a ps5
@@ChaosDragoon88 Maybe. I don't have one so I couldn't care less about ff16. The only game on this list I'll bother with is Diablo 4.
But I’m also super casual and have NEVER looked into FF like that so I may be wrong.
This is an extreme casual perspective so don’t need to get too worked up about it.
I think should have mentioned AEW fight forever
How many times will you loop videos?
Falcon: YES!
Lazy as expected.
With SF6, Diablo IV and FF16 I honestly haven't been this excited for gaming in years.
2023 is just stacked
@@shugo1047as someone who played all the betas for sf6 and the beta for diablo 4, and ff16 looks crazy, id say they all are going to be successful lol
@@shugo1047 nahh sf6 is probably THEE most quality game theyve made in awhile i promise u that. Ff16, i mean if thats not quality idk. Diablo we have to wait and see
@@shugo1047 What? Stop being a delusional pessimist and look at reality. At the bare minimum, SF6 and FF16 will be hits. And Diablo 4 will probably be big too, though there might be issues with that one.
Diablo 4 is going to be a masterpiece
Anything crash related just gives me so much nostalgia, especially the wumpa fruits!
The Amnesia: Bunker demo is awesome. I am really looking forward to the game!
NO JOKE. The demo is absolutely killer. It wasn't a series I felt needed to be "reinvigorated," but the demo makes it so you can't help but walk away feeling like it has.
What's the demo on?
@@soilwork1981ify I'd tell you, but I forgot! 😂🎉. 😢 sorry, I tried to take it back, boss, but it was too late....
@@soilwork1981ify Steam (PC)
The top fav video of mine every month, i look forward to this type of videos
@@JaedaellI Rahter have a safe story than a risky story that ruins it
Looking at tlou2
A game I liked the everything about besides it's story
@@Jaedaell yeah, I'm not sold. I definitely see the production value but I'm not seeing a very unique game. I hope I'm wrong though
@@Jaedaell Same. I feel like Final Fantasy games in recent years have started to look more and more like popcorn flicks: flashy, bombastic, big budget but not as much substance as some of the older games. FF7 Remake is a perfect example of that.
Game looks great but it feels like they might be losing some of the soul of the old Final Fantasy games in an attempt to appeal to a broader audience.
All you need to know about the narrative is that Naoki Yoshida directed the game. The man who turned around FF14.
Did he launch the og 14?
Damn, seeing a new gameranx video at night time rather then daytime in Australia means I've stayed awake to late gaming.
See ya'll in the morning, a few hours away 🫡
I'm pretty on the fence about Diablo IV and Final Fantasy XVI. I'll be waiting for reviews. So this might be a backlog month for me, which is more than ok!
Buy it now, the game is sooo much fun i played for 12 hours straight since early access release, and if life didnt interfear, i would be still playing till now lol.
Could be argued Final Fantasy 1-5 and perhaps the MMOs all looked "generic" I'm just cool with something not swarming with robots and cars this time.
You take FF IV out of that list now buddy or im knifing you :D
Suprising that there was no mention of Elder Scrolls Online: Necrom. A return to the Telvani Peninsula, Apocrypha, and a new class. Figured it'd at least be mentioned
It's an MMO, as much as I love elder scrolls ESO will never not feel like an MMO.
Nope
My wife and I are looking forward to Diablo 4!!!!
Crash Team Rumble gives me some Power Stone vibes. The world needs a new Power Stone alike game.
Remake Powerstone!
The world needs a full Power Stone revamp!
Crash Team Rumble seems really good, not sure why so many people are hating it. Only thing that really bothers is the no PC release
AEW Fight Forever drops in June and might be my #2 for the month (behind Diablo 4).
FF XVI is gonna be amazing. Also it doesn't look generic in the slightest. They didn't create all the lore for this game for it to be called generic. Also FF XVI and FF VII Remake trilogy are different teams so of course they aren't exactly the same.
If that bunker game doesn't support VR, that should be a crime
I'm stoked for D4, I already pre-ordered back in January. To me, D4 feels like D3 met a little bit of Destiny. Open World, Mounts for all, rotating public events that people with drop in and out of. I liked Destiny, im a huge Diablo fan, D4 is going to be so much fun IMO.
So is D4 gonna be a single player game as well? I mainly wanna play just for the story and maybe some online here and there.
@Bran Man24 If it's overworld stuff, you will see other players, but if you go into dungeons, only players in your party will follow. You'll be able to play the story by yourself but not offline.
@@Bran.man24 You do have to be online to play, but you don't have to group with other players. Just know that there are public events and things where other players can also participate. To have a purely "solo" experience, stay away from those. But for me I think it's cool to have more difficult timed events that might require more people. To each his own, it can be done completely solo. You will just see other people occasionally in the world and in hub towns.
@George N D4 is gonna be my very first MMO/Diablo game so I just wanna play solo to get the hang of thing's. Thanks for the info
"This is Blizzard, they can excel at making people mad with new and exciting ways." lol
I played F.E.A.R. back then, when it released.
Trepang 2 is gonna be interesting to try
Wish final fantasy woukd come to pc
With the pedigree of Yoshi P and his team, FFXVI is going to be one of the goty.
Alien Dark Decent, looks like a btf game but, I really wish a procedural maps
Really ? I've never played final fantasy and this one looks good enough I'm gonna try it!
I know we're all here for katamari 😏 Rollers rise up!!
We Love Katamari is getting a rerelease?! I'm so getting that, the first one is one of my favourite games of all time, the soundtrack just completes it, one of the best video game soundtracks ever made, fond memories oof Damacy Falcon, i just hope the soundtrack is still great in We Love Katamari :)
YOUUUURRRRRR LOONELYYYYY ROLLINGG STARRRRR
Best news for this month for gaming as far as I am concerned
Really need a Aliens game again where you can play as the Aliens
Aliens: Dark Descent sounds like they mixed Darkest dungeon with an rts. Been loving DD2 since it came out, the stress management is such a interesting element to add to an rts. I can’t wait for this 🔥
I had the same thought when watching. Hope it does carry some similarities to darkest dungeon.
@@puds998055y6
Sounds really fun
I hope it plays similar or close to “Aliens vs Predator Extinction”
