As a almost 41 yo who read practically the whole thing last year and found it to be my favorite sjm series to date (and acotar is a 6 star series that I have and will reread every couple of years without fail), I'm telling you the first two books feel YA, the third and up new adult and the last few are adult, and it's awesome. I read up to the tandem read and really just didn’t gel with the series, I wish I could love it though! I’ve got massive FOMO not being a fan of TOG 😭😭
