So recently my truck's engine blew up. I own a CTS V wagon but the winter conditions are terrible to own that car so I need a little something to be a daily driver while I wait for my truck to be fixed. So we attempted a budget buy challenge! $3000 is the budget so we search across the state for the best car under $3,000! We go and test drive a car and buy it! - Розваги

You can get an adapter for the audi symphony system that you can plug an aux or Bluetooth adapter into. That's what i did for my a4 and it's been working well for like a year now.

I actually have an 2004 Audi A6 2.5tdi the 180hp and 400nm version its my first car ever and it has worked good and drives super nice! If have any questions about Audis feel free to ask if u have questions, that oil sensor problem is pretty common atleast on EU versions

thats common to happen on these engines. gotta be gentle with the old german cars. the salesman is right about the oil senser at ths bottom of the pan,but to be sure PLUG IN and make sure its from the level sensor and not oil pressure

Big Boy you pulled the dipstick sleeve out with the dipstick. The yellow sleeve is meant to stay attached to the engine block. Just a small tip for you.

Low oil pressure is NOT the same as low on oil. The car might have sludge issues, would advise dropping the pan, checking it out and cleaning the pickup screen

Scotty please get that thing in a shop ASAP, it sounds rough and you shouldn’t have to pull the oil tube with the dipstick they are two separate parts.
If you are in the UK looking to buy a car, make sure you check the MOT history via the DVLA website first. Remember just because something looks good doesn't mean it's ok, also people lie no matter how nice they are to you. Just some advice from somebody who has bought many cars. Also check tyre trend depths, legal limit is 1.6mm, check it with a 20p coin upto the raised egde otherwise 3points + fine.

Do the integrated engineering manual timing belt conversion and that thing will run for a very long time.

Scotty. Take it check why does it sounds like a diesel motor. It could be the oil, a tensor, vacuum leak, motor mountings o whatever in these engines... low battery voltage maybe. But even tho this motors do make a lot of ticking sounds... these one seems a little excessive. Abrazo from Argentina.
The sound make me think that there is something like a mess up pulley, tensor o something on the serpentine belt. Its like a constant whining sound you can hear over the ticking noise. Like a little "fan" on full power operation sound. If at that moment you just started the car i dont think the sound comes from the main engine fan.
Sounds like classic stock injectors.

1.8t and 1.9tdi are the best engines vw has made so far, well those and 3.0tdi.
dont use longlife oil on the 1.8t, have oil changed regularly and it will last a good time.

You don't have to buy another stereo, unless you want to; there are bluetooth harnesses that you can install into the back of the wiring harness.

Hope u guys read my comment the 1.8T motor DOSE NOT have a Sensor on the bottom of the pan I have onwed 4 of these cars and all 4 had the same issue oil light would come on from time to time while driving or idling. The motor just has a poor design of the oil pick-up tube and screen, so needless to say the screen gets particaly clogged from sludge over time and hence the oil light coming on.... speaking from years of experience as a mechanic and owning them. I would definitely look into it and have a mechanic or rick fix it (simple pull of the pan cleaning of screen and pan amd ur good as new) all in all a 3 hour job with a lift and right tools
1.8t are notorious for turbo bypassing oil into the intake.
You should put subwoofers in the Audi. Go all out in car audio on it.

pro tip, if its your first car and you have 3K, which more than likely you dont have extra bags to change leaky gaskets, turbos etc. Get an accord, civic, camry etc. Not as cool as an audi, volvo etc. but you will not regret it when it comes time to wrench on it, which will happen.
