Final Doom: The Plutonia Experiment - (Map02) Well of Souls

We end up in the land of Indiana Jones, but this is a different kind of Well of Souls.

Great gameplay LBF (if I can call you like that... xD)!
And yeah, the name of this map is a reference with Well Of Souls from Indiana Jones, including the invisible bridge. That was a part of a puzzle that Indiana Jones have to solve in "Raiders of the Lost Ark", if I'm not wrong. "Duke Nukem: Land Of the Babies" has references to Indiana Jones too in a few secret areas on the game.
Well, you handle yourself well on the map. Looking forward to Map03!

There I agree with ya. This map, to a newcomer especially, can be downright brutal. The Revenants perched above you near the yellow key can really mess you up, and plus, you might not even know what to do next after you come to the invisible bridge. But still, like you said, this map has an excellent layout.

Ahh, more questions.
1. Arch-Vile, Cacodemon, Hell Knight, Cyberdemon, Arachnotron
2. Pain Elemental, Lost Soul, Revenant, Chaingunner, Demon
3. I'd give it a 7.
4. Not really. I imagine I'd make an "okay" one, but still.
5. I've given that some practice, but I keep dying to the UberMutant near the end. =P

OH! That's where the invisible bridge comes in. I always liked that touch for this map, but I never knew if it referenced anything. I should've known sooner, lol. Anyway, yeah, the Well of Souls is from Raiders of the Lost Ark, but the bridge is from The Last Crusade.

Oh yes, "The Last Crusade", you're right! I know that the invisible bridge was in any of the Indiana Jones' movies, but I didn't remember which movie it was. Anyway, thank you to make me remember... xD
And I remember now that the puzzle in the Golden Gun chamber on "Egyptian" level of "GoldenEye 007 (N64)" is a reference to Indiana Jones too.

Was a slight shame that the enemies didn't really follow you up those stairs with the crushing ceilings......

I wish GZDoom didn't make people kills Lost Souls. That would make the lives of ZDoom-based source port users so much easier. =(
