Mosesexperience how much did it cost to go from stock to stage one ? Then the cost from that to stage 2? How much did it cost on the app to upgrade to stage 2? Also do you know how the 0-60 was on stock as well as stage one and two
Josh R The stage 1 map pack is 100. And stage 2 is 100 as well. You need to buy the flasher for $250 to be able to flash the maps onto your car though.

Looks really nice. Im glad you like it. I still prefer the 550. I know the majority of people stay away from the big V8 with twin turbos, but there is no repalcement for displacement. I have an F10 550Xdrive M Sport with sport cams and gears. I also have larger throttle bodies, charge pipes, new turbo lines, intercooler, and dual intakes. I threw away the mufflers and resonators, swapped the cats for hi flows, and ran 4" exhaust pipes from tjeower manifold independent of each other, straight out the back. The only tune i needed was a dyno tune for the sport cams and VVT. The result is a clean 535 to the wheels with 620 lb ft of torque... Although, my car doesn't look as pretty as yours. Its carbon black, though.
I do enjoy the 550, only thing is the gas mileage and the infamous hot v heating issues. But like any car if well taken cared off it will do great. I now have an m5 so I understand fully 😅

Hey brother, I had a VSRF catless downpipe, resonator and muffler delete with just akropovik muffler tips (just the tips). So it’s straight pipe

My car is a 2013. The downpipe really made it a good bit louder. If you still have you resonator it won’t be as loud as mine. Should sound really good

How much does the n55 f10 stage 1 tune cost to purchase?
Have you had any issues with the carbon fiber front lip falling off or coming loose? Just wondering because I’ve seen a couple videos on some and people in the comments who’ve ordered the same ones have said there’s fell off at about 115+mph

Hey brother I’ve never had any coil issues at all. Only thing I did was spark plugs before stage 2+ and it’s was great!!!
I own a 2013 535i brother everything up to date on maintenance what should I do first thing to upgrade speed performance was told about the MHD N54 app but not to sure about it.
For performance without doing much MHD stage 1 will make a difference. When you want more power, VSRF downpipe, charge pipe, stage 2 MHD. Then intercooler then stage 2+

How do you get different exhaust sound with comfort or sport mode, 535 doesn’t have valve controlled mufflers I thought?
I entered into MHD when I want the burble to be aggressive. So in comfort I have it almost quite, in sport I have the burbles aggressive
From all this parts you really need only CATLESS DOWNPIPE. Everything else together will add maybe up to 5 hp. Personally I'm running aFe Power SCORCHER with stock CHARGEPIPE and K&N filter insert on my F10 535 manual. Costs me just about $180 for used module from eBay
Everything else is mainly maintenance. The intake isn’t really needed a k&n will suffice but the stock charge pipe will break at some point in the future the most boost you run. Intercooler is needed to keep the temps cool. All of these in my opinion will play a major role in keeping the car reliable in the future.

@@SaturdayWinter I did research - stock charge pipe on 5 model is much stronger compared to 3 model so it is safe to use it up to stage 2. I'm driving with additional boost about a year now - no problem 🙂

When I had it the bearing were great no issues. I wouldn’t go too crazy on boost until you do the rod bearings though if you’re shooting for the moon
I wanna get a catted down pipe but do I need to get a tune or is it good to just run the downpipe by itself?
I have catted downpipe now on my m5 and I haven’t had the need to tune since there’s a cat there. To maximize the horse power gain I would tune it at some point but no need to rush and no check engine light

The installation wasn’t difficult, I just don’t have a lift to do it myself. I haven’t done the plugs yet as I’m going to do it when I do my Intercooler.

I just bought an X5 with the same N55 engine, looking for better throttle response and a bit more turbo sound because its just SO QUIET in the cabin even with my muffler deleted. Will the charge pipe alone make a difference?
The downpipe will definitely wake the car up not the charge pipe. The charge pipe is more maintenance, just upgrading the cars plastic charge pipe for a better more reliable one. But with downpipe you will need a tune because it will trigger the check engine if you buy the cat-less one. A tune with a Downpipe will definitely transform your N55
The n55 with the standard exhaust system is pathetic. Not sure if offered but there's a sports exhaust for 640i lci's. That's what should have been on the n55 from the start. Sounds amazing.

So tune covered a catless down pip. I only see high flow down pipes, cover by the tune.
It covers both. You have to select if you have a cat or are Catless
Great video. I am also considering the charge pipe, down pipe, intake and inter cooler with a Bootmod3 or MHD tune on my 2011 535xi. Is the HP gains and sound really considerable?
The HP gain is VERY noticeable well worth it, sound is night and day after the downpipe. It wakes the car up and you hear all turbo spool

Exhaust is the same sound comfort of sport. Best option is a valved backbox on one side which opens and closes for sport and comfort. So quiet when comfort and loud in sports. It surprises people when messing around with it.

In a closed garage you definitely don’t want to smell it. But besides that, I never paid attention to the smell. Never bothered me.

dj ochi yes the catted downpipes are hella expensive and it still has a smell, not as strong. Idk, from the research I’ve been doing mhd/bootmod is the best for the buck. Mhd is a bit cheaper and been around a little longer than bootmod. Bootmod3 is amazing and growing extremely fast from what I read so it’s personal preference.

Depending on the tunes some companies do custom tunes, but if they’re getting it from another company then they do the same thing

Yes I used 5mm spacers to get it away from the suspension

The rims are not low profile, but the tires themselves are low profile.
